Does anyone here actually collect amenities kits as a hobby?

Gentle prod to those that have an amenity hoard thats sitting in a draw.

Every Little Bit Helps

My wife donated half a day at work recently sorting out stuff for them and dividing them into separate packs.

Really good cause. They take anything as long as it's sealed

I only travel once a year long haul so don't have much product to donate

Love reusing the zippered cases. Have loads of the old QF Jack Spade ones, and a half dozen of the new softer material ones... ugly ugly ugly, and zippers easily break - thanks QF for this cough imrpovement.

Take a leaf out of Qatar, Cathay, even Garuda.. you don’t even come close to their design, quality, look and feel.

I love the idea behind Every Little Bit Helps and plan to send them a package in the next week - it certainly beats trying to cram more kits into my laundry / bathroom cabinets!

That said, if anyone here knows of any local Brisbane charities or shelters that could use similar donations, feel free to point me towards them. :)
Sorry I'm so slow finding this! Making a Difference - Brisbane. Will always take these donations and have drop off points all over Brisbane. Find them on Facebook :)

If anyone has EK F Hydra Active pyjamas in S or M sizes Unused with satchel or SQ Givenchy pyjamas in S or M sizes, i'd happily purchase them from you. Can only seem to find L or XL sizes on Feebay

I can help you out with SQ PJs digger but purchase ain’t going to cut it - donation to charity will get you over the line - let me check the stack morrow morn and I will give you a pic.

No problem! Let me know which charity you prefer & the recommended donation & I'll happily do so

Like many others here I am a collector of bags for my own pleasure, but I tend to keep a couple and then donate the others to a local womens refuge in the ACT. I also collect the toiletries from my hotel stays and use them to restock empty bags. :)

I used to collect the hotel amenities but then I try travel really light these days and unless the products are fabulous then I don’t really bother any more. Mostly they aren’t fabulous.

  • If you ever get a AF La Premiere Givenchy branded amenity kit, keep it.
  • Easily the most stylish unisex cases out there, & the Le Soin Noir products are Indeed Fabulous, as well as Expensive! They make Bulgari amenities look cheap pricewise, even the mini ones!
