Domestic flights from Melb/Syd international terminals

I see a couple in June
Hmm does seem to be JQ63 for SYD > MEL on June 3, 10 , 17 (Mon) and 7, 14 (Fri).

Other than that once we hit April it seems like theres not much scheduled anymore until nov/dec but who knows if that will stick being 9+ months out and with new 321NEO LRS coming in.

Don't think there's anything out of MEL anymore.

Looks like these flights still appear on search results but can no longer be booked?

I can see JQ flights leaving from international terminals for sale. JQ63 this Wednesday from SYD to MEL.

Further out they may have frozen sales as they change schedules?

With the introduction of A321neo flights between MEL and CNS there are now non 787 flights that run from international terminals.

Luckily one very easy way to find them is that all JQ international flights are in the range of JQ1-224 flight numbers. On ita matrix you can put JQ1-224+ (including the plus symbol) into the routing codes and then set the stops to non stops.

A search like this is going to give me all the JQ flights that depart from the SYD/MEL international terminal over the next month to either SYD/MEL/BNE/CNS.

If one were a platinum and happened to nab a $29 SYD-MEL, that could make for a very pleasant three hours in the FLounge for oneself and ones companion. A long all-you-can eat and drink lunch in one of Sydney's better restaurants.

One would certainly get $29 worth of bubbly and amazing food, after which, crucially, one wouldn't need to go to Melbourne ... just cancel the ticket and forfeit your $29 🤔

I think you'll get into some trouble explaining to ABS ABF what you're doing.

Woops ABF 😂, although I'm sure the ABS would like to know how servings of S&P squid was consumed.
I have seen people exit from airside in other airports without any drama. Really surprised me but seemed to be no big deal. In one case, it was just to buy hamburgers for the kids.

Legend has it there's an airside exit near B22. Possibly that's the bus over to domestic, in which case, that would do nicely !
