Classic Flight Reward seats are limited, so it's best to book early!

Also got the same email but with only 40 S/C since the start of the year not going to make any difference to me especially given the earn rate in J. So will save points and cash and simply use to upgrade International and or domestic fares as required or available :)

Since Simpler and Fairer my discretionary spend on QF has dried up and I thank QF for that as my Bank and points balance is so much Healthier now :)

Any ideas on the best value for points earner from SYD? I'll be 160 SC short of WP requal this year. My year ends 31 Jul

Received email, booked a one-way flight I needed.
OOL to SYD 32k points & $67.70 total for 2 pax. Great value. Thanks QF.
So will earn Y SCs for a flight I was going to book anyways.
Just wish they'd do J for international.

And tickets issued whilst typing this.

Just been doing some basic checks and flying domestic best option would be SYD-MEL-ADL in J netting 80 S/C Return so 2 of those should do it. Cost would be 64K Points per trip plus fines. I base this on Flight frequency and availability along with points spend versus earn.

They clearly want people to start burning points.

You mean people are not using points as much as they used to when J and FASA were available at the marginal rate. Now there is a shocker :) Or is it because of all the promotions out there with credit card company's etc?

For me I have earned a huge amount on credit card earn and bonuses and virtually nil flying. Also since the death of JASA etc have not been redeeming as previously posted.

They did this in Nov last year if I remember, as I used it for a MEL-SYD, but probably wouldn't use it again, the deal breaker is not having J SC's for J bookings.

I registered just to show I supported the idea though doubt will be booking any flights.
At least will get me taking a peak at QFi again even if only for a few days.
Since the end of JASA's, QF status soon to be dissolved booking QFd only when VA not available.

I've registered. Mrs_O and I are planning a trip to the Margaret River later this year for our wedding anniversary so might as well book now in the window and snag some SCs. We were going J anyway on a Classic Award.

Also received.

SO I'm guessing an Intl Economy route will be the best SC/pt ratio ??

I've registered but not sure if I will use the offer.

Interesting that they say the following
"The Status Credits earned through this promotion will count towards your tier membership, but not count towards the four flight rule for reaching or keeping your membership status"

surely we cannot call these JASA when the SC earn is half (Y).

A new name is required. Perhaps JCA+Y or YCA-Y or simply eJASA (enhanced JASA).
