Domestic JASA's return - SC's Only

Just been doing some basic checks and flying domestic best option would be SYD-MEL-ADL in J netting 80 S/C Return so 2 of those should do it. Cost would be 64K Points per trip plus fines. I base this on Flight frequency and availability along with points spend versus earn.

Try looking SYD-MEL-HBA in J day return instead of the above. Even better value! 48k points and $110, or 62k points all up.

I haven't got this offer. But I haven't got enough QFF points to redeem on flights anyway.

+1 Received & registered for this offer.

I will almost certainly book a few sectors on the ' Golden Triangle' & looking into one or two long distance domestic flights to CNS or PER for some sightseeing/weekend getaway's.:)

I've done a few dummy bookings & calculations for international sectors to HND or HNL & not a real lot of choice or value to be had in the next 6 months.

I suspect this offer will be quite popular, based on the number of people here who have received the offer so far.

Overall, very happy with this offer as many domestic sectors as a classic award are good value In comparison to a cash fare.

Those who received the offer - what are your points balances? Mine is 1,5xx,xx_ and I received the offer... I'm wondering if it's targeted based on your points balance.

Wow!

You've got plenty of points to burn!

For me I've got a tiny proportion in comparison to yours at 230k QFF points to burn.

Between SWMBO and I were are around 860k at the moment. Will likely use a few up this week but no more than 20%. QF worked their magic here!

less than 35k points here, so it's not targeted to those with big balances. Perhaps target is those who have done JASAs before?
Or perhaps the arcane mysteries of QFF marketing are not for mere mortals to decipher, and depend on phase of moon, chicken entrails, last Saturday's lotto numbers, and whether the water goes clockwise or anticlockwise down the drain on the equator.

Re: 7 day exclusive offer: Earn Status Credits on Classic Flight Rewards

Received email but can't see much in this offer for me.
Would have been great if Int J had been included - might even have got to silver again!

Just reading the T&Cs that it has to be a QF flight number. No mention that it has to be QF operated.

It does refer to "Qantas domestic Economy and Business and Qantas international Economy", though that's not as explicit as "Qantas operated flight", so I might be reading too much into it.

The Classic Flight Reward Status Credits offer is valid for Qantas Classic Flight Rewards with a QF flight number for travel in Qantas domestic Economy and Business and Qantas international Economy where available

TBH I may be reading too much the other way.

Hmmm.

Neither I nor Mrs Excel invited. Disappointed SG/NB with 120k/80k respectively.

No offer here despite sitting on a rather large pile of points. I've also done JASAs before so not targeted based on that. They obviously don't want me pushing towards WP...
