Domestic JASA's return - SC's Only

After waiting for 2 weeks, and receiving no response, probably nothing is going to happen now, unless you chase it up.

I recently had an ORC matter that I forwarded to QF by email. I received a follow-up phone call within 48 hours asking for some further details.

Having said that, in the past I've had SC matters resolved without any further communication after my email, and found it to be resolved only when checking my account activity.

I registered for this offer in April and booked 3 domestic J flights in two PNRs. All flights credited over 6 weeks ago with 0 status credits.

They were SYD/MEL and vv sectors but I believe they should have earned SCs at flexible economy rate (ie 20 SCs per flight). I emailed frequent flyer 2 weeks ago, received automated response but nothing since.

Will leave it another week or so and email again. If that fails, I will call when I'm back in Oz next month. Has this happened to anyone else?

I got this offer & although SO didn't get the targeted email he still qualified for the offer by virtue of the fact he was in my pnr.

We booked a BNE/SYD/BNE Classic award in "X" class for travel late April which earned 10SC each way. I clicked on the promo link in the email to register & booked the following day.

Flights posted with zero status credits so rang up to chase & they said I'd need to wait 6 weeks for the SC to post before they could chase up & by the way it was showing that I hadn't registered for the offer.

I knew I definitely had as just prior to booking the flights I clicked on the promo link again & it told me I'd already registered.

SO was getting a bit "antzy" as his membership year ends 30 Jun & was sitting on 1180 SC so sweating on the 20 for his WP requal - just as well his year didn't end 30 Apr!

Anyway rang the ff service centre this week who got on to IT who checked that I had registered & they called me back 2 hours later confirming the SC were now in my account.

All good.

That is interesting that it credits to everyone on the PNR.

It wasn't an accidental thing or a mistake as it mentioned in the terms and conditions that everyone in the same booking was eligible to earn status credits as long as they were a a QF freq flyer member and had their ffn in the booking.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Will call FF and speak to them in person.

How easy was that :D :D :D

Dont see the issue we all know when QF has a promo out side the norm you need to chase as the systems are not generally capable of doing it itself. Heaven Forbid :D

Just to update. It looks like a similar story as ozbeachbabe's. Called this morning and told they had attempted to contact me regarding eligibility for the promotion. The agent today checked the flights and confirmed they were eligible. He has noted that on the file but suggested I wait two more weeks to see if the SCs still credit automatically. If not there may be some issue with my registration - I confirmed to him that I was definite I had registered. It's already past the 6 week time limit for crediting as detailed in the promotion. However I am a patient man and the status credits don't affect my renewal qualification. Whats' the bet I will be calling again in 2 weeks?

I would rather take odds on you having to call them!

So the two week wait actually morphed into three before I called again. But happy to report the nice agent said she would check my account and credit the SCs. 20 minutes later they were there. Pleased with the result though the process was certainly a convoluted one.

Crediting for awards booked using AAdvantage and Avios has certainly been an unexpected "feature"... I guess the work-experience kids just applied the bonus to all U-bucket bookings.

Nothing to see here... as you were... :-)

My scs applied 5 days after travel without manual intervention

Mine didn't post correctly either (just saw they posted with 0 SC) sent an e-mail through, the chap on the phone seemed really flustered and didn't knwo anything about the offer.
