Domestic UK Club Europe

Post Covid in both 2022 and 2023 I have redeemed QF points for J seats on BA in August peak LHR-EDI, GLA-LHR and LHR-DUB so definitely possible.
In Jul we had a pleasant BA J trip LHR-LIS booked with QFF points. 6 wks later a further pleasant surprise posted. 😉

Thank you all for the commentary and information!

For what it's worth I called Qantas and they confirmed availability they could see on the phone for my particular itinerary matched the website (in other words not available). This was the case even though it did show up on AA (and BA) as available for the through itinerary all in business class. I was searching LIS-LHR-EDI.

I definitely agree that BA has extra availability. My understanding is that they've really amped up the restricting of awards for partner programs recently. It's somewhat fair enough but also weakens QFF utility in Europe in my opinion.

Dear Mr O'Leary
I would like to apologise for all the bad s**t I have said about Ryanair over the years.
I have just boarded a BA puddle hopper from CDG to LHR and it was a ZOO!
One door - front only and it took forever.
Business class had a priority boarding pass beep queue, only to join the hordes in the tunnel!!
Now we have missed our slot and are sitting at the gate.
Absolutely shambolic.

Hopefully the Avios cartel continue down that path.
