Did anyone who got the email take up previous offers or received bonus's already this year? Eg DSC from Feb or an Aquire 50% bonus. Of it close to qualifying or not

Who knows with QF?? Personally, I'd wait 24 hours before concluding it is only a targeted offer.

Neither WP account has received it in this household. Given my year ends in April 2018 the extended date could come in handy for next membership year. waiting waiting waiting. I always take advantage of them and have one already in play for November.

The lack of counting to the loyalty bonus is a bit of a disappointment, but in the end that doesn't make a huge difference especially if you'd get to Platinum or above with DSCs but without any loyalty bonuses. Last year's offer and the one earlier this year counted to the loyalty bonus (but at least the one earlier this year did not count towards the P1 Loyalty Bonus).

So now MEL-PER-LHR or SYD-SIN-LHR return in J on DSC will give 1120 SC with one loyalty bonus taking it to 1170 SC (if you take the loyalty bonus) just 30 SC and two qualifying flight segments short of retaining WP. MEL-SYD-SIN-LHR or SYD-MEL-PER-LHR return in J will give 1280 SC with one loyalty bonus taking it to 1330 SC just 70 SC short of attaining WP. Under the offer earlier this year both of those would have got two loyalty bonuses.

my year ended 4 days ago, nothing in my in box re this, and i will need a lot of this kind of thing to make WP in 2018 , fingers crossed I will receive the email.

Nothing here - but in the past I've received the email days after the first reports. I'm certainly not writing off my (non/)inclusion - nor booking my flights for next week - just yet!

No offer yet; have taken up previous .5 and DSC offers this year and have received credits; halfway to WP and halfway through qual year with forward bookings that will get me there by Nov (end of year is April 30).

I will attain 1210 SCs by the end of next week having utilised the recent 50% SC bonus offer for HKG flights.

Therefore any DSC won't be of use for travel until December 01.

All this is a long and convoluted way of saying I haven't received the current DSC offer.

Given the dates it has to be delivered today. Tomorrow you only get 4 days to book so unless there are different days with different periods it we didnt get it today its probably not coming.

Mrs C and I took up DSC offer May 2016 for travel in March 2017 (to USA). #1 son has never taken up DSC offer.

Me:: SC reset month 01 October; current status WP; current SC: 1350; no DSC offer email
Mrs C: SC reset month 01 August: current status WP; current SC: 0; received DSC offer email
#1 son: SC reset month 01 October: current status WP: current SC: 1480; received DSC offer email

I've checked my spam settings etc, never missed anything else from QF.

The t's& c's say
For Points "Only one bonus Qantas Points offer can be used per individual qualifying segment of your itinerary. If you qualify for multiple offers, the offer first-registered for will be applied to each individual qualifying segment."
For DSC "This bonus offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer by Qantas. Bonus Status Credits earned from this offer do not count towards Loyalty Bonus or Platinum One Loyalty Bonus earn requirements. Only one bonus Status Credits offer can be used per individual qualifying segment of your itinerary. If you qualify for multiple bonus offers, the offer first registered for will be applied to each individual qualifying segment. Given it talks about Qantas Points"

So make of that what you will. Based on the "conjunction with any other offer by Qantas" part i would say NO. But im not an expert.
