My DSC came through after a 'delayed' booking.
I seem to have had the same experience.

Upgrade fairy just worked her magic so Mrscove and I are very happy vegemites tonight in Los Angeles.
FYI, today I used a DSC voucher to book a QF flight. The voucher was in my name, but I changed it to my friend's name while booking (and I have the screenshots to prove it). However, when the booking was created, I went to MMB and low and behold, it was booked under my name! Called QF - they claimed that that voucher's name could not be changed. They refunded my booking and cancelled it (though they didn't want to refund the voucher - I had to argue for that). I don't know if this was a glitch in the system or something being "enhanced" but it's a data point. Anyone else used the vouchers to book for someone else recently?
When redeeming a voucher I have changed the name on several occasions without issue including this week. Once you've redeemed the voucher you can't subsequently change the name.AFAIK you have always had to name the PAX when you bought a voucher. You can name anyone you like. But once named, you cannot change the PAX name.
Question for the collective brains trust: if your itinerary consists of a mix of eligible and ineligible flights, do you still earn DSCs on those eligible flights and then the regular SCs on the ineligible flights? Or does the inclusion of an ineligible flight invalidate the whole itinerary for DSCs for the purposes of this promotion?
The itinerary here is SYD-MEL-SIN-MEL-SYD with the MEL-SIN flight QF marketed, EK operated.

Qantas has changed my fight from SYD-MEL on 18 Dec from QF489 to QF491 - this is apart of a bigger international route (SYD-MEL-DXB-CDG). I've also done a classic reward upgrade for the SYD-MEL leg....wondering if there would be a drama with the DSC here.
I note above that the QF / EK mix doesn't rule the eligible flights ineligible but what about the QF change on the domestic leg (and the business upgrade)?
My anniversary is 31 Dec so the flight is very close to the end (and will re-qualify me for Gold).
