quick question: If I have an upcoming flight booking and I now add additional flights to it, will those also get double status credits? I'm guessing it should, but wondering if anyone else has experience with this.

Officially no. Any changes to the booking will void the offer. Unofficially, Redroo said that changes to dates or times only will not void the offer. As for adding flights, in practice, you might be lucky, but who knows.

Yes I've added sectors to at least three flights booked originally in the DSC period and the extra flights have all posted DSC

I'm hoping they'll do the DSC offer again next year or the year after. I think they probably won't do another one till at least very late this year. Though they're more likely to do one next year than very late this year one would think.

You will probably get the odd 50% bonus by the end of the year and perhaps early next. But i doubt you would get a DSC until sometime next year.

I seem to recall the DSC promo this year was timed about the same as the year before. So maybe early in the new year (February) we shall see another ?

This year's was a little earlier than last year's. Last year's booking window was in April, I think.

Thanks RichardMEL for that dissertation. Now I have to look back on when I registered and which flights I bought on the DSC. Once I'm certain as to my facts, I'll give them a call. I know some of my later bookings (just flown) were under the 1.5X DSC (different time periods for registration and flight dates).

By the way equus, I thought your comment above (that you subsequently deleted) was a perfect explanation. Why did you delete it? I can restore it if need be.

Sure enough, my 3 flights back in April and May were at 50% SC as I have only just noticed they have finally posted:

04 JUL 1750% STATUS CREDITS BONUS 27APR17-07

04 JUL 1750% STATUS CREDITS BONUS 27APR17-07

04 JUL 1750% STATUS CREDITS BONUS 05MAY17-05

so the 2 vouchers I have in my account are the double SC ones. Now when am I going to ADL and PER?

Yes - mine took forever to post as well, and had forgotten about them actually :o

I can't remember if I posted this yet, but all of mine have landed OK, along with a newly minted WP status!

Mine all come through within 3 days after the initial flight sector posting.
So after BNE-LAX-JFK-LAX-SYD-BNE, have renewed WP in the first three months of my membership year.
Two status bonuses earned, which I guess I'll have to take as points, as they can't count towards P1.
Lets hope for another appropriately timed offer next year!

I hope so. Though historically QF hasn't done the offer every year so I'm not counting on it.

I'm hoping to get to LTS as soon as I can to set a good platform for getting to LTG at some point in the future even in the likely event my flying drops off a lot. Every DSC offer helps with this.

I hope so. The DSC offer makes it far easier to achieve the goals. I like the J sales, but DSC's means less flying to achieve. Maybe if there are no DSC offers next year, I'll just have to have some spur of the moment holidays to make the most of sales! Life is so tough.

Has anyone else had a big delay in some of their double status credits posting? I had a return flight on the same booking, the double status credits for the outbound leg posted to my account 2 days later, but I'm still waiting for the return flight which was almost 2 weeks ago now. Should I call and ask?

I found a July entry of DSC for flights taken in May. I'd forgotten about them to be honest.

The T&Cs do say that you need to wait a lot more than two weeks before chasing things up.

Yes there can be a delay so don't panic if you are just maintaining your status. If however you are moving up in status I can see why you would get a little anxious.
