It's a worldwide promo for all QF flights (and QF code on EK trans tasman) therefore country of origin of QF flight will not be an issue for DSC purposes IMO.

So an interesting data point, I booked a mel sin return for June on the 6th of feb, well before the double sc promo. Took the first flight on the 2nd of June and 4 days later got awarded double sc's. Not sure how this worked exactly but not complaining

Sometimes the weirdness works against us and sometimes for us... nice surprise.

I wonder could you possibly have made any change or even a reissue during the promo period?

No change or reissue instigated by me. It was booked through Zuni so not sure if the ticket got issued in the promo period? Doubt that though.

Seems to have been a very select group being offered the new 50% offer - or AFF members have been under-represented . I'd better think about using both of my vouchers I bought in the DSC period for my next couple of trips (PER and MEL)
