Might I suggest the subject be modified just a bit to indicate this is a global DSC offer for everyone like last year's one? it might be clearer and not cause 5 threads on the same thing

Being LTG and a new P1 this means zip to me - but a pretty generous offer, so good on QF.

The downside is more crowded lounges but perhaps QF see the trade-off as acceptable.

Interesting. A month earlier than last year. Forward bookings mustn't be looking too good with the over inflated domestic airfares.

Qualified Platinum easily this year with 4 months to spare. Decisions, decisions.

Be even better if you could stack it with a DSC voucher ??
Sadly I suspect use of the voucher would mean the booking isn't in the necessary period

Unfortunately nothing about it in my email, so I guess it is targeted. Good to know Qantas are still offering it though, and I hope some of you can make use of it.

It is not targeted. Most of us didn't get emails about last year's DSC offer either. It's being promoted on the main page of the QANTAS website.

Make sure you register before you book.

OK, found it. It is only on the Australian homepage, not NZ or UK.
I interpret the following to mean all segments of a booking but no stacking of offers.
Only one double Status Credits offer can be used per individual qualifying segment of your itinerary.

Just registered, it seemed to be OK.

Actually maybe not. I am looking to book flight on EK through to Singapore with QF code but think this only works to Auckland and not elsewhere? "Emirates operated flight with a Qantas flight number between Australia and New Zealand." Can someone confirm my thoughts?

Nice that this is coming through!

Not too nice is that I've already booked SYD-NRT-SYD and SYD-LHR-SYD both in J. Double status credits would mean I would qualify for WP.... I guess its pretty hard to justify the cancellation fee to rebook just to be eligible for the promo.

This is based on the PNR creation date, right? Is there any 'trick' you can do to get a new PNR without getting too much of a fee?
