I have registered and received confirmation of registration but will do again Sunday. This is the first time that I have ever received an acknowledgement for registering and now worried that my 1.5 SC offer that I registered for and then booked flights has not gone through, can I check that with Qantas ?
Anyway now trying to work out where I can go with this double offer too.....

Generous offer and well times for the holidays :)
No use to me as I'm heading off to the LOTFAP shortly and won't be back until late Jan. I will however be sampling the delights of F on AA and that's a kind of DSC in itself ;)

The bait is out and now to see what they catch! I hope this isn't a replacement for the 10x bonus gift vouchers!

Hmmm, DSC? Now where can I go?
Useless to all those who have every weekend booked in December and January!

Why not a double SCs promotion for July and August flights? Or September and October?

I think it might be because there is more capacity due to reduced business travel in December & January.

Good timing, was just about to book my domestic December flights.
Is the DSC offer valid with all CC?

Thanks QF! I hadn't done my January bookings yet, this is a great way to start a new status year. Merry Christmas to you too!

Does this mean that my flight booked that has been booked before I registered ,qualifies for double status credits ??

As per T&C

This offer is valid for new bookings and registrations made between 12.01am (AEDT) on 01 December and 11.59pm (AEDT) on 31 December 2013 for travel on eligible domestic Australia flights from 01 December 2013 to 31 January 2014.

So, you won't qualify.

If I pay with a voucher from a cancelled flight will it still count as a new booking from the new booked date?

Hi Everyone,

For those of you always on the lookout for Double Status credit offers, we’ve got some exciting news and wanted you to be the first to know…..

This festive season, we’ve got a very special Christmas offer. From Sunday, you’ll be able to enjoy double Status credits on eligible domestic flights, AND double Qantas Points on purchases with your new Qantas Cards with Qantas Cash. It’s a double dipper’s delight!

Keep an eye out on Sunday for an email with all the important details.

Merry Christmas everyone! :)

Cheers,
Red Roo

G'day Red Roo! Thanks for all your help earlier.

It says Cash Purchases; so that means it would preclude ASA's then?

My understanding is that it's two separate offers:

Double Status Credits on all Eligible Domestic Flights, and

Double Points on QANTAS Cash purchases.

It's not double points on flights, and you don't have to use QANTAS Cash to get Double SCs.

And yes, ASAs qualify.
