Double Status Credits 2011

Well, on the final day of the promo I did the ADL-BNE-TSV-BNE-ADL run on a JASA in one day. It went pretty smoothly...but it was a long day. And I really got sick of Shane Bourne looking for his grandfather.

It cost 48,000 points plus around $200, for what should be 480 SC which should take me to WP with 10 points to spare.

That's assuming I see the double points of course....

All of mine have posted within a few days. I am just waiting on saturday's MEL-SYD to post.

Know how you feel, I did the TSV/BNE/DRW/BNE/TSV double status run in one day, awoke at 4am got to bed at 10pm, flew back to CNS next morning. 1st points turned up about a week later, went SS then week or so later the bonus points arrived and went SG.

The bonus status credits posting have been quite tardy.

1/9 flights from last week was credited and it wasn't even for the first flight that I took.

I am anxious because the bonus status credits will bring me across the line to be a WP!

I also noticed that SC's for flights were being credited in no particular order. But they have all now been credited.

I'm having trouble chasing up some JASA credits (the double part) for a flight that had a subsequent points adjustment (initally posted as zero/zero).

I was rebuffed a few times for calling earlier than six weeks (even though most credited within a few days, and it was obvious the points adjustment stuffed up the auto crediting).

Now it's practically impossible to match up all the flights and double status credit promotion points... not so much when you're doing it as you go but when someone is on the phone trying to figure it out and there's 4 pages of flights it's not simple. It's now been 'left with them' for further review... hopefully it gets sorted soon!

As of COB yesterday I was waiting for double status credits to post for 12 flights: 2 flights from early last week plus 10 flights from last weekend (SC run), all JASAs except for one Red e-Deal (positioning flight). Last night the double status credits for one of the early-last-week flights posted, and then this morning (sometime in the last 30 minutes or so) the double status credits for all of the remaining 11 flights posted in one big rush.

Anyway - woohoo, now WP Thanks again to AFF and all the members who spend their time answering my dumb questions and posting such great info.

8/9 Flights now posted, with 2 posted before yesterday, and suddenly in the last 1/2 hour 6 posted. Now waiting for the last to come through.

I got my WP, a week ago. I was also waiting for the double status credits to be credited for nearly 4 weeks, and all of a sudden they were all credited in 2 days.

I got most of mine done as well. Just waiting on a AA codeshare flight to post but as the where delays and reschedule for this flight no idea if it will go thru or I will have to ring up.
If I get this one and get the double SC points it will give me Gold, if not I will have to take another flight.
