Yes, you're correct. Completely forgot that not all QF fares on JQ earn.

That makes those $35(+20) flights to Sydney slightly less appealing, although still hard to beat.
I suspect the QF earn ineligibility on jetstar is how some of those people that lost all of their points got caught.

The main downside to a JQ intraday run is the 3 hour minimum connection time between flights if you're trying to book them on the one PNR online.

My DSC just posted for flights on 7th may.

Does DSC count towards Platinum 1? Is it worth chasing, compared to normal Platinum? I will need another 2500 SC

I just got this offer in my inbox, I really wasn't expecting it as a Bronze, (so far) infrequent flyer with a massive 35 SCs at the current time. This is excellent for me, as I have quite a bit of travel in June and may now hit SG way earlier than I expected.

FWIW, the email stated 'Dear hopefulQFF, Thanks for registering!' - The only thing I've registered for with QF in recent times is an 'interest' the new Qantas Cash card. It may be unrelated but if you're looking for a DSC offer maybe sign up!

It does say book between 2nd April & 30th June.

I got mine directly after booking so I thought it was a reminder of the period in which it applies - as I booked for Oct not before June.. it was a good reminder as I completely forgot about it.

I am very happy to have received the reminder email today. I recently changed my email addresses and along the way must have missed the original offer. I am bronze and have only recently started flying more regularly again after a 10 year hiatus. It's pretty funny that last night I said to MrFeezable 'you won't think I'm crazy if one day I tell you I'm off on a status run?' He, of course, said he would then know I'm really am crazy. A very timely double status email

I'm QF Silver, haven't received the DSC offer (like others, never have) I've been holding off making bookings I need to in hope of a DSC offer. As I have a BNE-SYD-SIN JASA already booked, a DSC offer would get me over the Gold line. I guess we all live in hope (and that Red Roo may read this )
