Is there anyway I can check that my DSC offer has been activated? I clicked on the link in the email, but the webpage didn't ask for my frequent flyer number.

Call the frequent flyer number 13 11 31 and ask if they can confirm your enrollment. That's what I did last year after booking tickets and before heading off to LOTFAP to ensure I was getting the DSC.

Red Roo posted a link earlier in the thread that worked for me, so probably will for you too.

I received my first DSC offer too. Had already booked a number of flights to get myself close to SG, just waiting for next pay to purchase the rest of the flights that would get me there. Unfortunately only one of those will be before the June cut-off so I'm glad I'll be making gold through everything I booked (be qualifying after a return JASA ISA-BNE-SYD on Dec 29 - 2 days before my anniversary). Problem with these sorts of targetted offers for people out here is that you need to book some flights a good 6 months in advance to ensure you're not paying $500 each way to Brisvegas. Still nice to know I was on QFF's Xmas card list.

I've just cancelled a business class booking and rebooked it for a later date, a no cost option. That will get me Gold, without purchasing any further tickets. Nice of Qantas, but...

You have to wonder why Qantas has done this. The only thing I can think of is that they want to flood Dubai with elites who will take over the Emirates facilities. Funny thinking, but hey.

Dubai isn't Singapore, but the Emirates lounges do serve Moet champagne in unlimited quantities. It will be interesting to see what Qantas frequent flyers make of it.

Personally, I will be continuing to fly to Europe on Emirates. Cheaper fares and nicer, friendlier hosties, better food and entertainment (and you don't have to fly on a 380).. Qantas have a lot to learn in that regard.

So it will be interesting to watch.

Hi All,

Any idea how long it takes for the DSC to appear in my account?
I flew full fare SYD - ADL - SYD on the weekend and have only received 30SC each way.

15 APR 13
QF 738 ECONOMY 15APR13 ADELAIDE/SYDNEY - - - 0 30~
12 APR 13
QF 761 ECONOMY 12APR13 SYDNEY/ADELAIDE - - - 0 30~

I definitely qualified for the promotion as i received the email and activated it straight away.

My flights were booked by work last week (inside the promo period). Could the reason i didn't get the DSC be because work booked the flights?

Im so close to SG id be really frustrated if for some reason i am not going to be getting the DSC.

Any advice is greatly appreciated :-)

GRRR just think I've found my answer- re-read the T&C in the email again - not 100% happy

Bonus Status credits may take up to 6 weeks after completion of your travel to be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account.

Just be patient, they will most likely appear sooner than that. And they will be awarded to the membership year when the flight was taken, so even if you are close to the end of your membership year you don't have to worry about missing out on getting to SG

Thanks asg29e,
I was worried i'd miss out on SG based on the dates the DSC are applied.
I might just book another couple of flights just to be sure i wont miss out.

Overkill. You won't miss out. Best save them for your your new membership year to start on re-qualification. Or the road to WP...

HAHAHA WP... highly doubt i'll ever make it there. Bloody work gets in the way a bit too much for that.

It's always been this way, but as has been said, they'll get there and count for your previous membership year, don't worry!

Usually they should post a little quicker.

One would think so but not a problem at this stage as I am WP and no where near renewal
