Double status credits on offer for eligible Qantas flights

I received the offer for double SC's and have made some international flights in Y on QF metal - getting the SC's in a couple of days.

However, I have some trips booked in J on CX metal - and I am wondering if the double SC's apply.

|The original email says "Qantas flights" in the text, then goes on to say the double SC's are awarded on all "eligible" flights. I have read through much of this thread but can't quite find any confirmation. Can anyone help? And hopefully set my mind at ease?

There are two ways to register:
1. Click on your email link – this method does not require you to log-in but sends a message to your QFF profile to register you (this process is just a bit easier than having to log in).
2. You can visit www.qantas.com/bonusapril then log into your profile – This method will provide you with a confirmation email but is a little more involved. It will also confirm that you have been selected for the promotion.

So, if you were not selected for the promotion, you will not be able to register and you will not be eligible to earn double Status credits.

Registration confirmation: If you are at all concerned that your registration has been accepted, visit www.qantas.com/bonusapril and register again, this will send an email to you. I can assure you though, that selected members who have clicked on their email are registered – no harm in making doubly sure!

So it looks like im set. And only 2 flights to get over the line in the end. Anyone got some tips for a reasonable lunch at Brisbane airport for my 2 hrs between status run flights?

From what I know of, you MUST have received the email after going through the www.qantas.com/bonusapril link to be eligible for the promotion. It seems that some people gets the confirmation on screen even though they aren't eligible, but others can correct me if I'm wrong.

Just an update: After accepting their offer, it appears that they've given me double status credits for every flight during the offer period (i.e., backdated the acceptance)

Which is what the offer said would happen. Double for all flights booked and flown regardless of when you register.

Would anyone shed any light on whether flights booked by work through QBT would enjoy the same treatment? The eligibility rules seem fairly generic - book and travel in Apr-Jun, but I'm keen to know because it will mean going from QP NB to SG in two weeks if it's the case. Here's hoping....

I don't feel discriminated against though...

Any flight with a QF flight number that you get SCs for normally qualifies,

Double SCs posted for my flights on 30 May 2012. Only problem being they posted on 01 June 2012 and have accrued into the current membership year which started on 01 June 2012. :evil:

I actually need those SCs for the last loyalty bonus of last membership year so now comes the fun part of chasing that up as well as the CX original routing credit for the TG flight as well.

dveous I understand that if the points post in the wrong year (they have before) you need to call the hotline & get it fixed manually.

Like yourself, I've called about the missing SC.....1.5 weeks to go & we will see if all is OK!

Well thanks to the DSC offer and a business trip to Dubai that I was able to route to OW, even thought it was longer it was cheaper, I am now WP for the first time.

Many thanks to QF (and for DJ for not having suitable times or cheaper seats), I now have BNE/ADL/MEL/BNE in J (okay, a JASA), so 150 SC's become 300 - half way to re-qual.

Thank you QANTAS!!!! Dads flights which i'm 99% sure were booked before his DSC offer have been given DSC!! He will have requalified for WP in 2 trips to the U.S.A. And new year is not till end of Feb. At least I know that I'll be getting partner gold again..
