I’m seeing DSCs posting about 2-3 days after here. Which is good. But I wonder what impact the Christmas/New Years break will have on Qantas’s Rube Goldberg machine used to transfer thsr SCs. They will pop me up a level before my time runs out on New Year’s Day. But will I see them in time? If at all?
I have another flight before New Years that will take me over. But it’s with Jetstar on a bundle, and gosh knows if that will be credited in time either.
Anyone got any thoughts?

As another data point, flight I took on 22/12 still hasn’t had DSC credited. No GV involved in this booking.

Have been posting like clock work all year, however I noticed that flights on 16/12 and 20/12 have not yet posted DSC. 16/12 was booked in Aug and 20/12 was booking in Feb. Both have been proper flight bookings from the outset.

Maybe just a Christmas slow down.

Yup. I had a seriously nothing day at work yesterday so I powered up chat on the QF site to ask what will happen. The chat crew clearly aren’t on holidays as my responses came in record time. It’s usually 5+ minutes per response, yesterday mere seconds.
Chat person informed me that the DCs are going to take “up to six weeks”. She also told me they will be dated to the date of my flight, so I will status up. After I politely asked, she even checked my account to make sure there were points coming, confirming there are. So now I simply wait!

It suggests there is some kind of manual process involved.

Flight on 26th Nov double status credited within 48 hours
Flight on 30th Nov double status credited within 48 hours
Flight 21st Dec credited 1st Jan 2019
Not bad considering holidays

(Auto correct put in statues not status...don't need statues )

Give me them a few days for the DSC.

Dec 23 flight credited an hour to midnight on the 31/12. I spotted them momentarily before they disappeared into the ether of expiration as the year rolled over.

My flight on the 21st posted on the 31st (not that it made any difference for me).

I initially thought a manual follow up is required given it was a TA booking but glad that it turned to be a small delay in (auto?) processing.

travelled on 2/2/19 still waiting for the bonus sc
Don't hold your breath. I'm still waiting for two flights on the 14th December and another two on the 16th. In both cases, these were part of a multi-leg flight, where the DSC's for the other legs came through.

Our MEL-BNE and BNE-MEL came through just fine, booked using a residual voucher during the promo period.

Sorry blackcat I'm not clear on what you did. Can you ELI5?

Booked something during promo period, refunded to voucher and booked again later?

No, we had a partial voucher left over from a flight last year (not purchased during a DSC promo). Used it to book during the DSC booking period and all credited a-ok.

Seems pretty clear if DSC do not auto post within 2-3 days of the original SC's posting for eligible flights then one will have to wait the 6+ weeks and chase up to get the credit. So tiresome. Luckily 95% of mine have posted properly
