Double Status Credits promotion (Book by 27/2/24, travel 28/2/24-14/2/25)

My dsc from previous trip (under current promo) disappeared. No dsc posted yet for flights taken on 21 March.

Good to see the "Twice as rewarding Bonus Status" show up in the activity, enables me to see that bonus SC for flights, well for all my flights up until 19 March, have hit the account.
Time to wait for the next batch

I have flown my first segment on this promo and am waiting for the DSC, but I am in no rush. So long as it comes through eventually.

Hi Everyone,
Long time reader first time poster - seeking some advice.
I have received my DSC from recent flights which has moved me to Platinum (no chance to get Platinum One). Some of my recent flights were cancelled and I successfully got the ORC claim through to receive the proper SC for what I originally booked.
However, I have noticed that the DSC component applied to my balance is on the flights I actually took and not the ones I originally booked. So question for those much more knowledgeable than me:
* Should I bother trying to get the DSC component fixed (probably only about 30 SC) considering it isn't going to get me to the next level (anniversary finishes Mar 31st). From memory, DSC don't go towards lifetime status which is the only reason I could think of but wanted to check and make sure I'm not cheating myself.
Thanks in advance.

It does go towards lifetime status, just not to loyalty bonuses etc.

DSC do go to LT status so that might be the only reason to chase up the ORC DSC adjustments imo.

If you can claim SCs for an ORC which included an extra leg, what if the new route includes an additional leg. Would you get the additional SCs?

Just a thought but it is a very narrow window to book flights. I travel every month across the Tasman and various domestic flights in Australia, but I cannot organise more than three weeks in advance so I can only benefit from the first, and if it fits into my cycle of travel. Do you wait for a DSC promo before you book or just look on it as a happenstance?

Now that the DSCs are posting, the previously postulated theories regarding generating a PNR with GCs can be tested. Has anyone received DSCs for GCs purchased during the qualifying booking period?

For big trips like long haul overseas I definitely wait for it where I can. It’s much easier to attain/retain status if most/all of your travel is booked during the DSC promo. Most of my travel is self funded.

If it’s employer funded travel then it may be harder to use DSC for that, but you have to fund less of your travel out of your own pocket.

Thanks, yes, most of mine are business. But even the timing of personal travel is controlled by factors at home, such as managing a life-style block (acreage) with a productive vege garden and some animals (cats included), especially as we are usually away 7 to 8 weeks. May to July is a good time for us to be away which would have coincided with this year's DSC offer. Hopefully next year, as can't go this year.

Appears I’ve got another batch of DSC, this time for travel (4 flights) from 21-24 March yesterday. Coming quick, thick and fast now

Booked flights with DSC. Now may need to change first flight
if I keep same reloc but new ticket no will dsc still apply
