Hi all, I am new here. I recently flew MAD-DXB-PER on EK but with QF flight numbers. Am I suppose to have been credited with double SC as part of the double SC promotion. I have received double SC for my outboard PER-SIN-LHR flights(all on QF planes). Thank you.

Unfortunately no, generally codeshare flights do not award DSC. Same happened to me last year, DSC on the QF legs but not EK.

This year’s promo has worked well for me, but I’m already keen for another one.

I do wonder if this will be the calendar year QF starts doing a second DSC promo (perhaps targeted) again?

I'd rather they just stick to the predictable script. Remember when they were toying with the targeted DSC or even 1.5SC promos? The fact we know roughly when it is coming is a blessing imho

It depends on when your QFF anniversary is - for me it is April 30 which is doesn't leave a lot of time to use a DSC to retain Gold if I am short by the time the DSC offer comes around in February.

What month were DSC offers posted during those years when there were multiple offers in a year?

According to Point Hacks - here's the DSC history since 2018.

February 2024 (choice between double Qantas Points or Qantas Status Credits)
March 2023 (choice between double Qantas Points or Qantas Status Credits)
March 2022 (choice between double Qantas Points or Qantas Status Credits)
December 2021 (bonus Status Credits with Qantas Hotels)
July 2021 (50 bonus Status Credits with BP)
May 2021 (Points Club and Points Club Plus members only)
May 2021 (between Australia and NZ only)
March 2021
February 2020
April-May 2019 (Qantas Business Rewards members only)
February 2019
October 2018
August 2018
February 2018

2nd of my two July status runs completed last weekend. CR (J) PER-MEL-*-BNE-PER. Inside the MEL-BNE was a paid (J) MEL-SYD-AKL-SYD-MEL. DSC's posted within 30 hours of the flight, original SC's posted whilst on the flight.
All up 98.5k points plus approx $2,250 for 708 SC's. Platinum for the next 23 months.

Apologies - i have read through the FAQs on QF website for the promo. Just missed this being clarified.

If i amend the dates and also connecting ports for a booking - will it still be eligible for DSC. Does it simply need to retain the same booking reference and stay within the eligible dates?

Yes.

I bought a $50 voucher during the promo. I now want to book a flight with it for later this year which is within the eligible flying dates. Has anyone done this from this promo and still received the double scs?

Flight Vouchers purchased but not redeemed for an eligible flight booking during the promotion period will not earn double Status Credits.

Thanks. I am aware of the rules but am wondering if they are being applied as you stated.
