Double Status Credits promotion (Book by 27/2/24, travel 28/2/24-14/2/25)

DSCs for flights last week that I booked with a voucher (voucher issued before DSC period, but booking made during DSC period) have, as predicted, not credited. Looks like I'll probably have to contact Qantas about this at some point.

DSC should have been granted per the FAQ.

Contacted Qantas, they're asking for a copy of the e-ticket to show I redeemed the voucher during the promotional period. I've sent it through so we'll see how this goes.

The thing is though... they have my PNR. Why can't they pull up the e-ticket? Surely that's basic functionality you'd expect their IT system to have. Well, it is Qantas after all :)

Just changed destinations on one ticket bought during DSC promotion. It has kept the same PNR, but given a new ticket number. Issued date on the new eticket shows as 18 June.

Would this be an issue, or should it credit DSC normally?

I think it should still work

I like how you all freely talk about this in a public forum like nobody at qantas reads this stuff.

I guarantee you there is some mid-level Karen that has spent the past 5 months at work creating a 65 page powerpoint on how 'The billion dollar loyalty program of qantas is being scammed".
Then we will be life time gold and then they Qantas can restrict, I am sure they Qantas are enjoying the revenue boost

Karen doesn't care about any revenue boost.

Karen might even twist things and show how it's costing the airline money. For example, deferred SC earnings into future membership years is revenue dilution.

Karen cares about rules.

Just saying.... keep the good stuff to in-person conversations, and don't invite Karen.

Mate, I'll be happy settling for somebody at Qantas who knows how to bloody read!!!

I have sympathy for Karen - what f..king hope does she ever have of getting a Powerpoint presentation to work on Qantas's IT system?

QF knows. Like the rest of its shoddy systems and processes, it choses not to deal with it.

QF is well aware. I have zero doubt after all these years. The relative minority of this sort of use is worth the revenue earn I guess. After all, whichever way one decides to do it ensures revenue to.QF. maybe not as much, but still bookings they may not get.

To double check, if you make changes to your booking via Qantas Reservation phone line, but your PNR is still the same - does the overall trip qualify for the DSC offer? This is in regards to changing 1 section of the flight to an earlier time slot.

Cheers

They're usually between 1-3 days for me now. Depending on which day of the week I took the flight.

So our two flights this week have posted the DSC for both of us. Mine are calculating the total just fine, husbands DSC are there in the activity statement, but not included in the total number of status credits earned. I've sent off an email to QFF but anyone else have this weirdness?

I flew BKK-SYD on QF 296 last week, on a classic award, with points club I assumed I would receive status credits but nothing posted. Did I assume wrong because it was the finair wet lease? Or should I follow up? All the surrounding flights status and doubles posted shortly after.

Yes, from a Feb trip.

116 days. 6 emails. 11 phone calls and a formal complaint and I’m still waiting.

Oh, and nothing posted for Tuesday’s trip either.

I’ve had nothing post for any of my 5 trips since Feb and I fear I might have a permanent glitch with my account.
