Any closer to a date and destination?

So late in November that it becomes December. I've missed out 3 years running so this year scheduled everything for November to leave December free.

Shame we can't get the carriage to ferry everyone back from PER... alas, we've all booked our tickets already!

Plus, that'd be a long trip!!

I'm waiting on advice as to what days I can use a locomotive. Having our own train on our own timetable is a bit more decadent than just attaching to some other train if I can get it arranged.

BAM1748, as we draw closer to the Date, is there any suggestion of which weekends we should be looking at?
I know Mrs GPH is keen, biut her calendar is filling fast :-)

Certainly works for me!! Any hints on where the train might be headed?

I think we'll start and finish in Sydney, but I haven't worked out where we might go. I have some thoughts but might even make it a mystry trip. Will try and keep times similar to last year, a noonish deaprture and return in the evening.

I should know later this week.

Matt

in news just in, Premier Peter Pan (Mike Baird) has banned all steam engine trips.

After the storm on greyhound racing, he did Think it "worthwhile extending the night time lockout to all hot flamin' carriers.

he he went onto say "the fun police will ensure all citizens are home at a reasonable hour as the Nanny state must prevail upon them to be up early for those most fun morning radio shows".
