As you can see here our youngest granddaughter was feeling left out.

So she came to Poppie and said Nanna wont let me take photos.Our son said he saw her taking some to which she replied-but Nanna deleted them-she hadn't.Of course Poppies always believe a granddaughter and handed over his camera.These are her efforts.

I asked her how can you take such good photos.Miss 7 answered-you just point the camera and push the button.See photography is easy.

And now our last day in Disneyworld.We are all off to the Magic Kingdom again.But getting their the slow way-by ferry.

The young ones go off and do their thing whilst we go on a nostalgic train ride around the park.

And we head to Tomorrowland for some of the slower rides.

So we go on the People Mover which has been the vision of future commuting for many years now.Mrsdrron decides it is time she got into selfies!

We pass over the Speedway which was our son's favourite ride about 33 years ago.

After that we went on the Disney Carousel of progress which is over 50 years old.A bit of a laugh.
Then we headed back for one of the highlights for our granddaughters.That next.

But we had to enter by the back door.Note all the strollers again-

So we are back to Cinderella's castle to have lunch with the Princesses.Our son and grandson declined the invitation and went and did their own thing.You enter the waiting chamber and advise the attendant that your party is now here.You then have to wait.Fortunately the chamber is nicely decorated.

It was past our allotted time when we were called but this was not to lunch.You now entered an ante room where you lined up for photos with Cinderella.After those are done you wait again until you are called for lunch.Your party is called by Royal then surname.Nice to be known as the Royal Dolton family!.
Now there will be no photos of the Princesses as our granddaughters are in all of them.But there will of course be food pics.

A restaurant that runs like clockwork.not bad décor-

Well it had a castle on the label so I thought it appropriate.fortunately I also enjoyed it.So to the food.Appetisers were forgettable.I had the cheese plate the others beetroot salad-

For mains I had the salmon on prawn risottther dishes were a pork shank and surf and turf.

Tiny bit of salmon for me but quality and taste fine.The pork shank got the best review.
The kids went for chicken-a leg or breast.

So for desserts a choice of cakes or icecream.For adults cheese,chocolate or sponge cakes-

And I totally deny the rumours that I pinched some of the granddaughter's cake.

The Cinderella Royal table lunch is not cheap.We paid high season rates of $85 per aduly and $60 for kids.The food is certainly not worth it or the compulsory 18% tip.But this was not about the lunch.It was all the granddaughters and meeting and being photographed with the princesses.Especially nice when our youngest granddaughter,Aurora,met Princess Aurora.It was worth it but definitely a once only experience.We left just after 3pm and people were still coming in for lunch.officially the last time that can be booked is 2.50pm.
The other thing to know is that is Disneyworld's most popular character meal and to get in you need to book early.Staying in Disneyworld we had an extra 10 days window from the 180 days normally.mrsdrron booked the first day it was open.

After lunch we met up with the boys for something totally different-the Tiki room

The Tiki room is Disney's first fully audio animatronic experience and has been going over 50 years.Based on a tiki bar theme-and our son is very into Tiki bars.It is a pleasant way to while away a little time and have a little rest.

It has all the wind,storm and volcano effects of many Tiki bars.

It's another of those Disney tunes you keep humming for a long time after you leave.
The show ends with the birds version of Hi Ho.

The time has come to leave the Magic Kingdom for the last time.We lingered to watch the changing light and reflections on the castle befor joining the throngs leaving.

Then back to the Polynesian by ferry at the right time for the best sunset of the trip.You know what that means!

Now the reason why we were staying at the Polynesian Resort is because our son is really into Tiki bars.He seeks them out.The first 2 nights we had dinner out,the third night I was on baby sitting duties but now it was my turn to experience the Tiki bar.I have to say it was a great night.great service and everyone gets into the swing of things.You do though end up drinking a bit more than you otherwise would.
The bar as usual had dim lighting.

The show depended on the drinks ordered.For example I started off with a "Volcano".

Looks great but as our waitress served it the volcano blew it's top-

The highlight of the night is when someone orders an Uh-Oa.The lights flash,wind and lightening-

To soak up some of the alcohol we did eat-chicken cups and pork Banh Mi sliders.Very nice.

So a great way to end my Disneyworld experience having quality time with my son and a very enjoyable night.

Mouse works have a You Tube video of this bar.Though I have to say the crowd in that was pretty quiet.The night we spent there there was a lot more participation by the drinkers.When a Mai Tai was served the server would say-this comes with....and the whole room would shout 2 shots of rum.

Now a few words on the experience.Sadly things are not as they used to be and not really true to Mr.Disney's dream.Far more revenue orientated than they used to be but that is life.Far more crowded but that reflects the population increases.
Also most are not prepared for the size of Disney World.It is 110 sq.kms or 43 sq.miles.It can take a long time to get around.
If you are at some of the more remote Disneyworld resorts it can take over an hour to reach a theme park.As well sometimes their transport system fails.So many were using this-

It is a Minnie Van.Disney's answer to Uber-$20 anywhere in the park.

Certainly a lot of positives staying at a Disney resort such as extended hours,earlier booking times for meals etc.But you pay for that convenience so a lot cheaper staying outside the park.
If you are doing this and intend on visiting the park on several days consider 1 person getting an Annual Pass-$US 779 without the Water Parks.But you get free parking in Disneyworld-usually $20 per day.You get 10% of most Disney restaurants including chef Mickeys and Cinderella's Royal table that we went to.It covers 4 people eating.20% in some restaurants in Disney Springs.10% of most Disney merchandise so the savings certainly add up.

Definitely consider the VIP experience that we did.Sure it costs nearly $1000 but can be for up to 10 people.We had 9 in the group and found it spectacular value.This service can be used at other theme parks such as Universal Studios-our son voiced the opinion that if you cant afford the VIP tour to Universal you probably cant afford to go there.Not only did we have a very productive day-did 2 days worth of park experiences in 1 day so a saving of $945 for our group of 9-we were given advice for the 2 remaining days-eg for son and grandson quickest ways to the Avatar ride in Hollywood studios.at this time of the year no fast passes except prebooking and wait can get up to 7 hours.They walked straight in.

So although this is our last time-doubt we will be able to take the great grandchildren-we still enjoyed this a lot.It isn't just for kids.Couples our age were there without kids,grandkids and obviously enjoying themselves.
But this is not the end nor even the beginning of the end for this TR.Still 3 days in Texas and 6 days in Bangkok to come.
