Hello fellow FF's,

I will be stopping in DXB enroute LHR in October.

Arrive 00.05 Tue 13/10 and depart 01.35 Fri Oct 16. All on BI.

Looking for a hotel that will accommodate the very early check in and very late checkout. Perhaps one that has 24 hr 'stay's, ie, I only need to pay for 3 nights that way?

Have had the IBIS Deira recommended by a BI Hostess.

Happy to pay up to $200 AUD for a double room per 'night'.

Thanks.

Pushing it for the 00:05 very early check in, and pushing it again for the very late check out 01:35.

If you are willing to pay $600/3 night ... why not just book 5 nights, and find a rate that is $120/night which works out the same.

Agree with this.

An "early" check in would be something like 9-10am and a "late" check out is maybe 6pm.
Outside of that you really need to be booking five nights.

I'll be in DXB at the end of this month, arriving at 01:40and staying at the Le Meridien Fairway for the first night due to its close proximity to the airport and being an SPG property. Booked a rate at AU$114 total, and I'm sure you could get a better deal if you shopped around a bit.

For a hundred bucks, this is probably way easier than trying to negotiate a midnight check in at some hotel that is really supposed to be for the FOLLOWING night.

The following week I've got a 05:30 departure and have booked the Le Meridien Dubai outbound for AU$210. Both include free transfers to/from the airport.

I once stayed at Le Royal Meridian which is an SPG resort near Dubai Marina. I'd say it's one of the best hotels I've stayed at, and it wasn't expensive. Tip: "Royal club rooms" have free booze in the evening (not just beer/wine) :)

Staff were super-helpful and would do anything to accomodate if asked: Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort and Spa

PS: I've stayed at that IBIS - it's in the old city, nothing wrong with it for one night. I personally wouldn't recommend old city for a 3 day stay in October... get somewhere on the coast instead that's designed as a destination not a stopover?

Why don't you call or email a couple of hotels you like the look of? They can only say no! They may be able to throw in some in house credit to use if they can't come to the party on the # nights.

As grounded stated Deira is the old city and there really isn't too much to do around there if you're planning to get out and about.

Also consider hotels that are close to the metro as it's convenient transport.
