Re: E-rewards: got invited via Accor, participated, got to about 25,000 e-reward poin

I think e-rewards have gone down the loo, so to speak.
I reconfirmed my email account, and now waiting for a reconfirmation email so that I can click it let them know its mine, but that email has not arrived.
I logged into my account under old password, it said not valid.
Had to change password.
Changed password, but now need to confirm email is mine.
The reconfirmation email still has not come, despite me making the request about a half an hour or so ago.
Bugga, its like having teeth pulled at the dentist!
Edit: their excuse why (adlib excuse) is that I clicked previous email from e-rewards as spam (!!!!!!) and that is why I stopped getting e-rewards emails.
What the... anyway, now with Flybuys up and running, maybe i should just let e-rewards drop and put more emphasis on amassing Flybuys points.
Got 2000 Flybuys points a few days back, then got an email, spend $60 and get 1000 Flybuys points, so now I have already got 2000 sitting in my Flybuys account, no psychoanalysis questions or surveys either.

6 weeks and my 2000 VA points havent come through via eRewards yet so I emailed them about it.

Response:
We had a delay with the credit of the points redeemed in June, due to an issue in Velocity end. We are currently working to solve this issue. We apologize for this.
I will let you know as soon as possible when the points are added into your account.

Re: E-rewards: got invited via Accor, participated, got to about 25,000 e-reward poin

I've managed to get 3,375 points since 17 July. Doing pretty good.
I had one about a payment app for BP. Pay for your fuel without having to leave your car. Sounds like a good thing.

Re: E-rewards: got invited via Accor, participated, got to about 25,000 e-reward poin

I redeemed 6000 eR for 2000 VA 19th June and another 6000 eR 25.07.17.

Today I had a survey about fraudulent company expense claims. Felt like my boss was looking over my shoulder with every answer.

Re: E-rewards: got invited via Accor, participated, got to about 25,000 e-reward poin

Tonight got offered a "unique" Nielsen survey with a $35 incentive (not sure how that's going to work):-

I just got this one. 4-5 hours! Not sure if I'll bother though. It's not clear how exactly they'll reward the $35.

FYI, 2000 VA points hit my Velocity account today. So that was 6 weeks + 3 days and an email following up.

I got that one too. At the start of the survey they stated "To be eligible for the gift card, you must provide your address." or something similar. I started the survey, but found that the questions were very time consuming and the 4-5 hours estimate seemed like an accurate estimation. $7 an hour--not worth my time.

I've had some pretty good luck so far. 7500 points since my join date on 17 July. Which has transferred to 2000 velocity points, 850 bonus velocity points, and the remaining 1500 e-rewards points that I'll save to 6000 again.

I was curious to see what the reward was and thought I would be able to complete it quicker than the estimate. But the survey was definitely long and painful.

There was no clarification of the reward upon completion and it wasn't listed under my completions. I've enquired with e-Rewards and received some points, but no guarantee what will happen with the $35 thing (which is probably Nielsen rather than e-Rewards).

As an aside, in less than a two-week period I've been able to redeem 2,000 Velocity Points through e-Rewards. By contrast, receiving 2,000 Qantas Points via Red Planet took 17 months.

Re: E-rewards: got invited via Accor, participated, got to about 25,000 e-reward poin

My husband told me last night he's sitting on 12,000 eR points and has to wait the 30 day period to claim again. He has way too much free time.

See what I mean.
Feel the love while it lasts Aisleseat.
Once you get 25,000 e-rewards points, wink wink they stop sending surveys and you have to chase them instead of them chading you.
I seem to have been locked out of my e-rewards account.
Have tried to reset password but computer says no.

I havent found this at all, we've been doing surveys for a couple of years now and regularly redeem 2000 VA points per month. I did stop getting emails because I stopped doing surveys for about a month but now they are daily again.

Re: E-rewards: got invited via Accor, participated, got to about 25,000 e-reward poin

Unimaginable with Red Planet, but e-Rewards has given me survey fatigue  There are times I actually hope to be screened out just to collect the consolation points and move onto another shorter or more interesting survey.

Had a good one today though - the survey started at 99% on the progress meter and was successful after answering one question :D

My account is now inactive. Haven't checked for a while as have not been receiving surveys. Will be interesting to find out why account is inactive.

Re: E-rewards: got invited via Accor, participated, got to about 25,000 e-reward poin

I usually transfer my e -rewards when I get the 6,000 required to get 2,000 velocity. Seems the best deal.
Im still getting e-reward surveys every so often. Last one a few days ago.

Possibly you have been, like me, JohnK too eager on the "job" and someone must have decided that they are probably losing out of it for sending us surveys.
Try to enter into your e-rewards account with the same email and password.
There is a chance that you will be locked out of your account, as I have been.
Tried to reset password, provided email address, but the reset "please click to ensure account is (yours)" or words to this effect never came.
I am over the games of e-rewards.
Might as well collect LeAccor points by actual stay, and Velocity via FB.

Re: E-rewards: got invited via Accor, participated, got to about 25,000 e-reward poin

It has now been over 2 days and no response from e-Rewards other than we've receiced your email.

Re: E-rewards: got invited via Accor, participated, got to about 25,000 e-reward poin

I've had some contact with them and their emails have been at 4-day intervals.

Tonight I was reminded you can only redeem rewards once per 30 days. Doh.
