They wanted to know what the payment was for, who was the other party, what was the ABN, etcWould you like to provide more information?
I'm lucky I had this info for them too

Uh oh, it was a legitimate one then I guess? They wanted to know what the payment was for, who was the other party, what was the ABN, etc

I don't think so. I use it to pay my strata, so there is no ABN I don't think? There is also paying "Fines", so I don't think there is ABN?Is there a requirement for the recipient to have an ABN?
You'd think there'd at least be a field for it when setting up the payment? Is there a requirement for the recipient to have an ABN?
No it wasn't.Uh oh, it was a legitimate one then I guess?
Ok. I have this card and P2 has the prestige but happy to pay $700 for this plus PP (with restaurant)@dein_gesicht Nothing would change as far as the outgoing payments are concerned, unless the annual CC fees that are apparently on their way are not worth the points for you, then the party may be over. You may need to change the details of your "return" payments, if they went to your CC via the soon-to-be-closed citi plus (?) account.
I haven't actually received any notification that my Premier FFFL is to become an Annual FFL.
Just use a real one from some company in the category that you're paying. Citi can't reconcile that with the name and bank account details you are sending payalls to.Mmm I think I am going to create some ABN this arvo, just in case.
I hope people were not paying from their Country Bank credit card into their country bank bank account, then paying back into their country bank credit card. That's like someone cheating on their partner by using their own bed, and leaving stains to ensure that their partner would pick up on what's happening. You may need to change the details of your "return" payments, if they went to your CC via the soon-to-be-closed citi plus (?) account.
Actually, I put mine as child care, caring for my own siblings. They don't have ABNs, they are just jobless bums, so I have to send them money. Also Jesus and Muhammad. They don't need ABN to receiving my money.Just use a real one from some company in the category that you're paying. Why? I haven't seen any communications on changes to reward program?"Cashing out" your points <24th Feb seems like a smart move!
Glad I transferred all of mine during the recent 20% bonus points promo"Cashing out" your points <24th Feb seems like a smart move!
Risk mitigation. That you trust that you won't be bent over by every large company on the planet is incredibly naive. Why? I haven't seen any communications on changes to reward program?
I don't trust no one, I only work within the legal framework, and your rewards are governed in the terms and conditions which you should read.Risk mitigation. That you trust that you won't be bent over by every large company on the planet is incredibly naive.
If it's anything like Payalls on their Emirates cards which they closed in May 2023, they'll simply be discontinued a few days before the Citi card itself is closed (unless NAB decides to offer a similar Payall-style product, which seems unlikely IMO).How will payalls work with everything moving over to NAB?
