Is this possible?... probably a dumb question...

IE Im flying tomorrow, work paid for a full economy fare, and I upgraded to business with own credit... Do I still earn points for the full economy fare?

thanks!

You'll get points and status credits for whatever class you purchased the flight in (IE full Y, not Business).

However, mistakes can happen and occasionally you can get full credit posted. Unlikely of course...

Almost ALWAYS happens if you get an op-upgrade on Air Pacific.

I've had several now, and have been credited for J status credits and points. Certainly provides me an incentive to send more business their way!
