EDR Fuel - Points

Ok now with that $400 saving and the ATO beckoning you can run up about 83,333 FF points if you go $400 divided by 0.0048 MasterCard rate. Of course the points are a bit more than that as you get 400 points on your $400 of fees I think.
It just keeps getting better in our FF world.
Los Angeles and Orlando next month are on my agenda.
By the way I bought the LAX-Orlando return for $296 on Australian Expedia so that is pretty modest.
The wine at Apothecary was a pretty good mind lubricant!

It can be wonderful how far you can get on a smallish amount of saving and it gets better every week if you work at it.
One of my partners has just started on National Seniors gift cards and he loves that extra fuel saving as well as the cents off shopping deal. I think it was 22 cents off his first purchase of diesel for his 4WD.

Yes cove, when pushing the thinking outside the square there is indeed more than the base 5% to be saved as the savings compound to save even more $$$ and earn more QFF. Had a good chat to the RAA customer service while getting another batch of cards, we discussed yet again that they should stock the $500 value cards since it has been so popular for people to buy in bulk.

And yes the wine in the Apothecary was very enjoyable, my shout next time mate :D

I have called RACWA twice to try to get them to switch to Wish Gift cards from their weaker Essentials Gift card but no change so far.
I think having 8 or 10 RAA $250 Wish cards is a bit of a wallet filler but it photographs well.

2 cards in wallet at one time + 2 with Mrs Shintaro too, the others get hidden away for use next week

I know what you mean.

I was just over 80 litres the other day and my dad told me off. Firstly for purchasing E10 and secondly for paying more for fuel. Seriously I find Woolworths petrol more expensive in my area where there are a lot of discount petrol stores. One can usually get 100% unleaded cheaper than E10 at Woolworths.

The bonus points are at best marginal in the overall calculations and are only just worth it with the 10c, 15c and 20c promotions.

I tried E10 but I noticed I got less mileage then from the standard unleaded petrol which negated any savings from buying E10.

It's well known that E10 needs to be at least 5-6c cheaper than regular unleaded ( at 1.50) to be better value, as it's energy value is less resulting in a 4% fuel consumption increase.

But then you use more litres, so earn more points (as long as you don't spend too much more)!

So Woolworths is offering 15c per litre off starting tomorrow for spends over $100. What the point of the tiered amounts then?

I think you would get both fuel offers. However this might not be useful as they don't combine. Plus you would need to use both fuel within 28 days.

Not quite, as you should have about a week between their expiry dates. The 15cpl will show up immediately. The tiered offer will show up approximately 7 days after the offer end date. This is typically the Friday after the offer ends.

Do you know where the terms and conditions are for this offer? I can't use it this week but if it's going until the end of the month I might be able to use it.

got a link to the source for this...?

Possibly only an offer for selected state(s) or territory(s)

Just used my last 15c / Lt docket to buy 54 litres for 420 points plus CC spend. Clicked the nozzle about 5 times to reach 54 Lt without overflowing.
