EDR General Promotions

Looks like it's the same offer for everyone, as I also got the 2 pts for spending over $30. No email for Mr Natalie as yet. I've activated and clicked to enter the competition.

Part of me feels this may be an expensive week....

I'm wondering if it will be an expensive week for me as well. I'm planning a big shop on Friday to take up the 15 cent fuel offer so I can't really afford to make extra trips to Woolworths during the week. I don't want to spend over $30 each day just to take up the daily offer.

My double point offer for Monday can't be used online.

I expect there will be some select and macro deal at some stage during the week to push sales of their own products. Hopefully these offers will have no minimum spend.

Thanks for the idea. It's good thinking. I don't think it's suitable for me but it's an interesting thought. I don't like the idea of using credit card details over the internet and I like choosing my own food.

Yes, my offer has the bit about not being able to be used online. I'd forgotten that when I started writing this comment. If it wasn't for the no online use of the offer the idea of picking up Friday would work for some people.

My dad received the double points offer available until tomorrow. Pass.

Qld we have 15c per litre off for $100 spend starting today for the next week.
And so has New South Wales.

If this is all it is, come in spinner! I was thinking more generous bonus offers maybe:)
Generous? Looking at first offer I wouldn't think generous would describe it but there is still time for some generous offers.

Re: EDR Targetted Bonus Point Promotions

Don't know if it's targeted, or general, but will post anyways....(I think that someone (Shintaro10x) posted something similar during the week)

Re: EDR Targetted Bonus Point Promotions

I also received this offer. I think it's fairly general

50% success on this one in our family

Re: EDR Targetted Bonus Point Promotions

Mr Natalie hasn't received it either. He can't remember getting an email about it last week, but he did get a targetted offer last Monday.

Ditto for me.
The other shopper in the family received today's email offer, but didn't receive the email advertising the week of offers. Hopefully some offers will start coming through on my account, but I don't think I would take up Monday's double points offer anyway. I hope there are some better offers as the week goes on.

Re: EDR Targetted Bonus Point Promotions

I received the same e-mail. Entered the comp.

Out of interest, how many of us are going to big spend today to take advantage of double points? We need a few things, and I can start to take advantage of the other bonus point offer ($40 spend on fresh food). I don't want to buy everything today and then have to buy duplicate etc if the other offers later in the week are good ones. At the moment, I'm tempted to say that I won't buy select or macro products incase they are used in another offer this week.

Does anyone else have a strategy (that they are willing to share :) ) for this week?

Says to me that all the Coles FLYBUY promotions of huge bonus points is starting to bite on Woolworths sale ?? otherwise why would WW be coming out with these additional/extera bonus promotions.

Make the most of it as it won't last !

My strategy today is to buy coffee for 250 points plus some itunes cards 20% off, pay with my 5% discounted wishcards. Hopefully itune cards still attract the points although I havent been able to confirm this yet. Later in the week I shall do a big shop and attract the 15cpl petrol voucher thats converted to points already, my car is fitted will 135lt tank :) and I will wait and see what other offers come in this week. Just realised its double points over $30 today as well.

Re: EDR Targetted Bonus Point Promotions

I received the apparent generic Week of Winning email on Sunday 11.55M, like most here - will enter for the Gift card and register for the WOW offer but underwhelmed with the Monday offer (WOW double points over $30) so won't take it up.

Mrs LW received 2 offers yesterday:

Big W, spend $50+ for 100 points
WOW, spend $40+ for 150 points (fresh F&V, meat, deli, seafood and bakery)

Can't see us taking up either offer, WOW is a posibility but whether I can find $40 worth is unlikely. Still nothing for the mini's :(

We're playing cat and mouse here with the spend & points, who will win :D (I want to be more like rainbowgirl, so specifically not spending in some weeks and like JessicaTam, being selective in what I buy to meet the minimum spend).

Interestingly, I just got a "follow up' Week of Winning email with Tuesday offer:

Plus, reward yourself with Tuesday's amazing offer.
Enjoy 10% off when you buy any 3 products from Woolworths Select or macro wholefoods in one transaction.

Still underwhelmed...but need some cheap Select items, so willl dangle the carrot to them.
