We love his fish cakes (as well as some of his sauces) and the kids love his fish fingers, so there shouldn't be any problem with my wife utilising the offer :D

Saw at my local Woollies today, buy 6 boxes of coffee pods (Andronicus IIRC for about $54) and get a free coffee pod machine worth $99.
Quite a good deal I thought.

Just received an offer for 50% off sliced mushrooms. Seriously? That is the best they can do with all the data they collect?

Did you see the article about the overseas worker in Canberra who had been blaming WoW for having poisonous mushrooms mixed in their boxed offers?

Sad outcome for her (liver failure etc) but turned out her non-English speaking mum from Vietnam had used the box to go picking along the roadside.

Health Dept and Police investigation cleared WoW, and testimony from patient in bed next to her sealed it.

But has not done WoW sales of mushrooms any good!

So, long winded way of saying my dislike of mushrooms has not changed and I did not take up the offer either!

Where did you get the updated information from. I can only find the reports from a few days ago which don't have this latest piece of information.

Listening to drive time radio and WoW spokesperson mentioned the two inquiries. Subsequently a man rang in about being in the bed next to the lady in the hospital and gave the additional information, radio host asked if he would provide his contact details off-air. Adverts came on, then host back on-air reported that yes, the contact details and email address had been recieved and they'd rung the man back to confirm it was legitimate and was now being passed onto ACT Police.

I suspect no further media reports on it means the claim has been withdrawn by the lady.

Time will tell.

This should help somebody this weekend:

We shopped on Tuesday - WOW, you are so frustrating sometimes 

WoW generally have a weekly/fortnightly cycle.

Curiously they send you the email letting you know all about the specials one to two days before the offers come through.

On Friday they release (but not necessarily email out) the 3 day (aka weekend) offers.

So, our shopping cycle is timed to a Thursday if not a large spend hurdle required. Friday-Sunday (whenever suits) if a large spend is required unless one of the half price specials is worth stocking up on. Twenty boxes of teabags don't take up that much room.

So, avoid the temptation to endulge on the specials before you receive your Thursday/Friday offer.

Received an offer to get a free 85g sachet of cat food. No spend required, just scan the card and the cat food. Looks like cough will try a new food when I get home.

She will be the final arbiter as to whether or not future purchases will be considered. :)

Were they posted out or given out at a shop?

Okay, I'm a little confused - who can shed light on my conundrum:

Got this line in my QFF account:

02 JUL 15
EVERYDAY REWARDS WOOLWORTHS PETROL 02JUL15
-
-
160

Which to me means that somehow I loaded up with 80 litres :o - now that just isn't possible given I have a Subaru Forester.

My most recent transaction was:

I was expecting 90 points (2 x 45 litres), but I'm not complaining. Checked my account, all offers are 4c/l (or 2x litres) and my next fill up was 6 July. I know it wasn't my wife as she fills up at another brand as she has a Holden Astra, so no chance of 80l there either. So unless I have a lucky punter who used my card out there...
