Aaaaghh, Mrs LW went out to the local IGA last night ahead of her BFA arriving today, just to pick up some things.

$120 later, she arrives home. Oh well, better luck next time

If WW still had good bonus point offers I am sure she would not be bothering with IGA. ;)

BFA Best Friend Always?

I went to IGA yesterday as well just to pick up some specials. The one I went to took Amex so at least I got some points.

I then went to Woolworths to get a few more things and used one of the other family member cards which hasn't had an offer in a long time. We didn't get any EDR offers this week so I couldn't see any point using the main cards for my shopping.

BFA - Boy Friend's Aunt?

No love from EDR this week. I will keep trickling the sales through, but most of my shopping is with FB now.

Since spending (well, not me) over $400 in 2 days and achieving the 30¢/L fuel discount (which will be used for 15 points/L (of at least 67 litres)), I've been ignored and not received a single thing. How rewarding!

EDR Targetted Bonus Point Promotions

rainbowgirl is the winner. TonyHancock, the BFA and her boyfriend both hail from England so you'd fit in well in a conversation.

Did give him a run down in earning FF miles and our EDR program in particular, think I've converted him to spending more time checking BA miles

IGA do Myer One points....it's better than nothing.

In December I used 5% off Wish gift cards at Woolies,BigW,Dan Murphy's ,Thomas Dux and Woolies Caltex. You don't get extra FF points at Dans nor Thomas Dux but with the dearth of frequent flyer points offers that make sense I remain happy cutting prices at those places and using the Woolies credit card to buy the Gift Cards.

Note to WOW,

Only $1k in gift vouchers purchased from the RAA today for a saving of $50, not my usual spend of $2.5k due to the lack of bonii from you, if you want more of my ca$h then you know what is required...

I await to hear from you...

I have plenty of good blogs/FT threads re: Avios earning and the CC's over here if he needs!

Got that offer last week. Didn't bother. Probably will get some awful offers again this week. I was waiting to see if anybody got some decent offers to decide whether to go to Coles or Woolworths... Looks like another Coles week!

yet another terrible offer this week

Spend $100 for 8c voucher

I'm starting to think that Joyce is on the woolworths loyalty team with such pathetic offers...

Shopped at WOW for the first time in a long time the other week.

Got an e-mail from WOW
"Gee, it's been a while since you last shopped with us, tell us why"
"Your points offers have gone to the wall + your fresh fruit/veg/meat quality is cough for the prices you charge" ($30 steak anyone?)

Think they will listen, probably not.

I have been shopping at Coles and IGA a lot lately.
Larger selection and better quality produce. Even if it's more expensive, l am willing to pay a little bit more for something that doesn't rot in 1 or 2 days....
