As a former Ipswich boy, I grew up around the corner from Woolworths Booval, which opened around late 1969, over 43 years ago, as stated on the sign. I do not think it sold donuts. Woolworths may not be entirely correct with their history. The original Woolworths Ipswich supermarket in Bell Street opened some years earlier. However I am not sure that it sold fresh meat or fruit and vegetables.

Damn you EDR and WW fuel. Today I have a 20c fuel voucher that expires today yet the fuel price in MEL is that ridiculous that even if I just use the voucher for a money saving, last month's bottom of the fuel is cheaper then the saving I could make today! :evil:

I hear ya. Have been hanging onto a few vouchers, tank has quarter left. l'm sure I was filling up for around $1.30 'ish the last few weeks. The price the last few days has been hovering around the $1.40 mark.

I got the same offer. Agree it's money for jam considering in spending $1k/week. Maybe I need a 2nd card with lower spend to qualify for the easy offers..!

Thanks Major. I emailed them all the details, and they sent an email back a few hours later saying sorry and they've credited the 1000 points. They came up as 'Woolworths Complimentary Offer'.
