I got the spend $100 for 3 weeks for a $20 gift card. I hate when these promotions are on as I never get any other offers during this time

$100 for 3 weeks....$20 voucher

pfffttttttt..... No thanks, not a great deal and while it "might" be possible with usual spend, its certainly not worth chasing...!

For the feel good factor, think I'll buy $500 worth of wish cards to use over the next 3 weeks on ALL Woolworths products (including Petrol & Dan Murphy) for an instant $25 saving...!

My offer is 3 lots of $100 spend for $20 cash. So if I pay with a 5% off gift card and use the Qantas points at 4 cents each then it looks pretty good.
I get 285 points buying the gift cards in the first place, then 210 points for the three weeks of $100 spend plus $20 and $15 saved by paying this way.
So almost $55 off for this deal. Now that is 18% off those retail purchases.
Last week I had a lady behind me in the checkout queue see me scraping off the pin cover so she dived into her wallet and did the same. She started smiling.

Cove, I'm still amazed how easy it is to be honest... I now call these wish cards my "staff" discount card when handing over to the checkout operator, the reply usually is "but that's not a staff discount card" but you and me know it has the same result ;)

And I don't have to work there to get the privilege...!

I got the gift card offer. Instead of giving a gift card, why not just me a 10% discount and save everybody the f@#$ing around of wasting your advertising dollars, your time and my time?

To qualify, you need to spend $50 per week in each of these three weeks:

• Monday 10 to Sunday 16 June
• Monday 17 to Sunday 23 June
• Monday 24 to Sunday 30 June
That's all there is to it! You'll then receive your $15 More Savings Every Day gift card in the mail.

Issuing a 10% discount would cost them more, WOW know people dont always use their gift cards to full value of the card. I managed to get rid of balances on 4 on the weekend, for a small shop it produced a long docket. LOL.

I got the same offer, my spend at Woolworths has never been this high yet I keep getting offers that are impossible for me to achieve.

Surely their customer tracking software must be faulty? Or they just don't care. I could possibly spend $50 a week for three weeks but even that would be pushing it.

Didn't even bother activating the offer.

Perhaps, but there is a cost to produce the said gift cards and to send them out...

Why cant they load discount on the EDR card like Flybuys can...? It does seem a lot of work for minimal gain to me... or am I too lazy

  1. Activate offer
  2. Remember to shop 3 times during the correct dates
  3. Remember to spend the qualify amount
  4. Remember your EDR card
  5. Wait for Gift Card
  6. Shop a few more times, still waiting for gift card
  7. If gift card doesn't arrive, call to follow up
  8. Finally gift card arrives
  9. Take gift card to shop
  10. Save $15-$20

Wow, such an amazing promotion, why didn't I think of it :p

$150 each week for 3 weeks for a $30 gift card here. Very doubtful I'll hit the required spend of $450 over three weeks, but I activated it anyway just in case.

Also received 200 points for $20 in deli offer yesterday, should get that one nicely.

73% hey, I bet they can do better than that.... They should talk to me, I can give much better results than that

Send the cards out in the mail on the date they expire, like they did to some last time :p

Same one for me - note that it's $50 per week for 3 weeks to get the gift card.

My poor (lazy) grammar, should be easy to do, three $50 Myer Gift cards please!

They do mention this time its a 3 month expiry date of the gift cards you earn.

Thanks Markis, I didn't think of gift cards. I assumed, as per the conditions of a previous fuel offer, that they would be excluded. Looks like only wish cards are excluded according to the T&Cs. Should make the spend easily now.
