Looking at this:

I think that the final product is what will earn the 50 points, not the separate ingredients.

There should be products every week:

The three experts help the contestants battle it out to see if their product can reach the 19.5 million Australians that pass through Woolworths’ 900 stores every week. Each episode features three different contestants who compete in a particular category such as Man Food, Desserts or Condiments.

Each week’s winner will then see their product on the shelves of Woolworths the day after the episode
screens, with viewers across Australia literally able to taste the result of the contestant’s work the very
next day.

If anyone gets a meat offer this week, there is a $10 off a leg of lamb special starting tomorrow. It will depend on the size of the leg as to what per kilo price this brings the final unit price to.

Agreed. I should have been clearer: I think it is the finished products that earn the points, not the separate ingredients that go into them.

There, I hope that reads a little better. ;)

Man food should be interesting - Beer? I suspect condiments might be ok for the points.

No offers this week.

You might want to read the offer again, it involves buying a product and getting 50 points for each one, that could be lucrative if you want to put the effort in ;)

No offers so far tonight. I'm guessing there's going to be another rush of Wednesday morning offers. I've got to go to WW to take up part of a freezer offer tomorrow but I probably won't have time to activate any new offers before I go out. I'll be going to WW late in the week to finish taking up a fruit and veg offer so if we get any other offers I'll take them up then.

I only just realised that my email had the offer too; was visually overshadowed by the competition...

Wait and see approach.

Not interested if Facebook is involved in any way.

But as I am not in the market for byuing QFF points the product would need to be a lot less than ~$1.25 value I place on 50 QFF points.

Depends on how co-operative the other posters to this thread are - with respect to the targeted products

Happy wandering

After looking at the price of the product this is not so lucrative.

Gee, maybe I'm glad that I didn't get the offer - at $5.99 (for the first weeks product), I don't think too many people are going to be buying pallets of it for distribution to the needy :o

I might buy one to see if the kids like it - and as we already have a jar of the suggested accompanying condiment (Birch & Waite Mayonnaise Aioli Garlic 440g) I'll be happy.

interesting promotion, but at 50 points for a ~$6 spend its nothing special.... No where as good as the Select & Macro offers a few years ago where the same points could be had for 20% of the current qualify spend..

I just got a $10 back offer if I spend more than $100 before this fathers day - looks targeted.

Would purchase of mobile phone recharge vouchers count for this ?

Agree, however each week there is a different type of food, condiments for instance will unlikely to be in the same $$$ range.

I dont see how any of the products are going to make it a worthwhile earner of bonus points.

Was this big w or woolworths? I just got a targeted email Big W offer similar to this.

If its some thing you need anyway and the price premium is small, different story, or its a low enough cost after being a tax deduction.
