Finally got an offer - the Big W one, same as with most here:
$75 for 30 points
$100 for 700 points.

Poor timing with me being away from Saturday for a week, then down in MEL for the next week. Where is the closest Big W near Hilton SW?

ooh spend $200 for 1000 points.
Going away for a week on sunday. I don't think it is going to happen, sadly.
Also $200 is way over my normal spend and if I take up the offer I'm afraid future offers will be for big spends.

Hmmm, Watergardens? (one train trip away)

I tend to agree with your decision, ellen10. Your parameters mean 1,170 points (+CC points) for $200 - which in flying terms, is a BNE/MEL flight supersaver cost. Wait for the deals that are akin to SYD/MEL and are on special. You're right that your hurdles may then be effected, so you need to know when to pull the trigger and when to keep the gun in your holster.

A BigW can be found on the corner of Swanston and Lonsdale sts. There is a shopping centre on the corner and it is downstairs where you will find a WOW and BigW.

hths.

4 offers for the family tonight.

I got the $10 off at Masters for spending $50. I'm not sure whether we'll use that one. I will consult my partner to see if we need anything up there. We took up the previous save $25 for $100 spend but that was when we were buying lots of presents for family members. There's not much that we buy at Masters and we usually spend under $50 when we are there.

I got a WW offer for the weekend. Spend $50 for 250 points. I was going to go shopping there on Monday but I can change the day to Sunday and pick up the bonus points and the weekly specials.

Two other members of the family got the WW offer, spend $80 for 500 points or spend $120 for 750 points. The targets are too high for those offers so we are going to ignore them.

I have no idea why my card got the reasonable offer. The other two accounts that got the high offers are only used for transactions of $50 or below. My last two WW shops were over $100(for Christmas) and $60(stocking up on some super specials). I'm just glad I'm lucky enough to have multiple offers to choose from.

Numerically, the $80 for 500 points is better value than your $50 for 250 - but as you say, keep the thresholds low may help with better offers in the future.

Because they want to try and raise the spend on those cards. Everything is about revenue, which if it increases, profits should naturally follow

I realised that the 500 points for $80 was a better points per dollar ratio but I didn't want to spend $80 so it was 250 points or nothing as far as I was concerned. I like stocking up on things but the stockpile is rather large at the moment.

I understand that EDR want us to spend more money on the other cards that got the $80 offer. What confuses me is why I got such a good offer on my card when I occasionally spend more than $50 on it.

Finally got a $200 for 1000 points at WW...ouch big spend!!

Also got the $100 BWS for 500 points, and $50 Big W for 500 points - these I could make use of for sure!

Some of the other kind of luck is happening for you, via your dad!
LOL! Puddles!

Fell asleep and a few more offers arrived

Mum - 500 bonus points for $120 spend and 750 bonus points for $160 spend at Woolworths
Me - 500 bonus points for $120 spend and 750 bonus points for $160 spend at Woolworths
Brother - 250 bonus points for $50 spend at Woolworths

After thinking I wouldn't get another offer this week (following the pet insurance offer), I have received 3. The spending threshold required for all of them is higher than my typical spend, so don't know that I will take any of them up. WW are obviously trying to push my spending $ up... Offers were for WW, BWS and BigW.

It is now pouring with offers from BigW and Woolworths so I had to order more 5% off RAC gift cards to cope.

Help....! Its pouring EDR offers..... I'm drowning in all their offers...

Total of 8 offers has been sent to the Shintaro10x (5 pax) clan this week

After a successful $101.30 spend at BigW last night for the 700 points I've woken up to a $120 = 500p or $160 = 750p @ woolies.
$130ish is a regular shop for us so won't be a prob bumping it up with a few non perishables that are on special.

Feeling the love!

How long do RACWA take to ship? I bought quite a lot from WWEDR MC when they had 5%/free shipping but need a new source now.

It was almost overnight in November then it slowed down at Christmas. It should be 3 days for Sydney if Australia Post is back working properly. I guess you should allow 5 days and then be pleasantly surprised.

8 offers across three different cards with 4650 bonus points on offer if all are taken up. Potential minimum spend of only $660 so I may just go for them all.

Unlike some of the other posters here, I'm not convinced the spend requirements keep going up - all three cards have in the past had the 1000 point/$275 WOW offer and all three have quite often been used for single grocery spends in excess of $400. As can be seen from the offers that have come in this week, spend requirements across the board are extremely low and certainly not trying to entice us to spend even more than we have in the past
