Have you checked your comms preferences?

Yes - I even had "I do not want to receive liquor offers" ticked (as well as all the things I DO want to receive offers for), but it doesn't seem to be working! So I've now unticked everything, updated my preferences, ticked them again and updated again, so maybe that might work this time.

Shop done, hopefully 500 points coming my way.
And a bonus $10 voucher for spending over $100 this weekend.

One of our accounts got a 150 points for $10 on fruit and vegetables. I'll probably take it up on Tuesday when I use the last of the spend $30 for $5 off offer. I'll have to be careful that I spend more than $10 on fruit and veg in order to factor in the discount across all the products from the $5 off.

It's just not worth my time and effort really. Didn't even go to Woolies this weekend.

Then perhaps Flybuys is for you. I know the program has been revamped recently but when I worked for Kmart 8-9 years ago one of their IT staff was impressed they were able to get ~$120 worth of Hoyts movies from Flybuys for their yearly spend on groceries.

Ummm. No thanks....

If you spend $30 and get $5 off but have spent $10 on veg/fruits to get 150 points, I would say, you still have spent $10 on veg/fruits.

Woolworths/EDR might do the same thing that Flybuys/Coles does when you try to combine points offers with $off promotions. The discount of $off gets distributed throughout the transaction so a proportion of the discount comes off each item. This means you have to spend over the minimum amount on the points offer goods in order for the final total of the goods to be over the minimum spend to get the bonus points.

I don't like to confuse (piggy back) offers.

Fruit and vegetables, tuna, meat etc I would do on their own. Discounts I would use on other shopping.

I think this is the first time I will be combining a points offer and a $off offer with EDR. I do it with Flybuys all the time but it's rare for me to be able to stack many EDR offers. I actually need over $10 of fruit and veg at the moment so it makes sense to combine the offers on my next purchase.

Didn't really go to Coles either...

Mum - $2 off Cobram Extra Virgin Olive Oil

What the?

My Mum prefers Carbonell Extra Virgin Olive Oil which goes for $20 on a EDR card for 4L. The Cobram Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a Aussie made brand. If the price is good, I would take it up if the price is right as I have heard good things about Australian Olive oil over European brands.
