EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

Well I got one which wont even be activated-$120 for 500,$160 for 750.

Coles offers are better targeted.Lower $ spend for bonus points, often the $10 or $20 off and the advertised weekly specials in the email are about things I buy whereas in the EDR emails things I never buy.

And with QFF now being simpler and fairer those EDR points are not worth as much.So Coles getting an increased proportion of our shop.

Still all quiet for me.

I was in WW tonight and they have a special where if you buy $50+ worth of iTunes cards, you get $10 off your next shop.

Happy with that, but most of shopping the last month or so has been at Coles.

Got a mixture of $80=500 points, $120=750 and $120=500 points, $160=750 offers over 5 accounts.

Yes just got the same offer on a card we have been carefully not using for a while! Nice to get an offer that we will use.

$120=500 or $160=750.

Usually spend around $120 when I do a shop (which isn't every week) so it does seem targeted about right.

Got this again. Used it last time, but thinking of giving it a miss this time.
Would like a different offer.

Dad - 15% off Woolworths car insurance and $120 Wish card

Insurance is not due for 9 months but checked just the same. Premium quite high although that is offset a little with the discount and $120 wish card. Too many questions asked during the quote stage.

got this one again.
Didn't use it last week, won't use it this week..

+1. I didn't even activate it this week and am beginning to think the EDR points aren't worth the trade off they get from me of my personal info. Magnificent total of 4,000 points since October last year, a lot of which came from one promotion for online shopping.

As reported by others, since July 1st there is less of an urge to gather up qantas points. I have switched to using the $ saving offers only at the moment. Had the $10 off for spending $30 or more offer a few times recently, so perhaps they have noticed a reduced spend on our behalf. I wonder if their numbers on people taking up the points offers have reduced since simplification day...

Please, no more toy promos from Big W.
Have never bought any toys there.

Very rarely here either but just when I said offers are not targeted I get 20% off Lego Star Wars. With a 5 year old grandson who is really into Star Wars!
But then I have never bought Lego at Big W.

I've just received another toy offer from Big W, including Star Wars Lego as well. Don't have any kids and have never bought toys at Big W!!

Every account received the Big W toy offer. It is a poor offer considering we have never bought toys with any of the accounts.

I must be the only one in Australia that doesn't get any of these offers, yes I have brought toys at Big W. Haven't used any EDR cards for 2 weeks now, still waiting patiently .....

And then we are the complete opposite. Apart fom first 6 months we get offers almost every week.

Some of our family accounts got the Big W toy offers and some didn't. Usually all of the accounts have been getting the recent Big W emails.

I have been a member of EDR for at least 5 years, probably more cause time does fly.
We are a family of 4 so the weekly shopping is quite significant in spend. I do remember
getting offers quite some time ago. I do think the lesson here is "don't scan your card every time
you shop"

Not sure I agree. I scan a different card each time I shop even if I only buy 1 thing.
