Is there a good way to get extra points in regard to purchasing gift cards - eg, swipe card get points on purchase cards, plus get points on redeeming? Prob not but thought there may be a trick?!

Apparently you do. May exclude Wish cards.

You won't get any points on wish cards, or any cards for places that are part of the woolies family.
You do however get points for puchases of non-woolies gift cards, notably myer/david jones/itunes etc

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Mum - 1000 bonus points for $275 spend
Dad - 1000 bonus points for $200 spend

We'll aim for lower spend offer and see what gives...
Forget aiming for a lower spend - just do not use the EDR for a week or two. Also, if you have any relatives without the cards then sign them up. using a rotating card system (use EDR card with best offer) can vastly increase your points and cash offers.

Just make sure you don't use the same Wish card (for example).

It is not certain but their system may detect the different combination of EDR with the same Wish card. It definitely does not detect buying several Wish cards with a suitable points earning CC and matching each wish card to one EDR card (permanent marker with EDR card initials for example).

Best offer recently, spend $30 for 3 weeks get $30 vouchers (on two EDR accounts). Combined with a few big points offers for normal (but not regular) purchases.

They game us - now's the time to have some fun yourself!

I have been having fun with Everyday Rewards from the beginning.

Used dad's card and shop only came to $140. Next time.

Is it possible to have multiple EDR cards linked to the same QFF account however?

Is it possible to have multiple EDR cards linked to the same QFF account however?

No but you don't need to have them linked. Transfer points as you need them.

If you don't have enough points in some accounts transfer from A-B, from B-C, from C-D and from D-A to complete the transfer.

I suspect not but there is one way to find out (two really - read the fine print or get another card at the checkout and join it online).

With ours, as there are 5 in the family and we travel together mostly, all points have value. Ramping up points earning (much more than main spender using their card alone) is really a case of the sum of the parts is worth more than 10x the whole (spend on main user's EDR).

Family transfers are only allowed once per year though right? or is there another means that you're referring to.

Both the wife and myself have EDR cards, but I wouldn't mind signing up for another few if there was a way to harvest those points.

I believe you are allowed up to 4 family transfers per year with a minimum 5,000 point transfer.

I don't know if you would need points urgently but I have left the points in mum's, dad's and my brother's QFF accounts.

Easy P - ended up spending $330+ When you look at the number of bags you gotta wonder what things cost in this country!

Mrs QF WP got the double points offer, so I accepted and we bought the same amount last night. Being delivered in next 3 hours

I ended up taking up all of the offers our family had except the double points offer.

I spent $30 on my card for 250 points yesterday and bought some of the specials in the catalogue that ended yesterday.

I spend $50 on the other family member's account today using specials from the new catalogue. I got the two offers of 250 points and 200 points and at the bottom of the receipt was a voucher for $5 off my next shop. I have no idea how I got this. I just hope I remember to use it before it expires next week. When you factor in the points, the voucher and the 5% discount from the RACV Wish cards I used, I think that works out as a 20% discount on the entire transaction.

Got a spend $30 for 250 points offer.

Lowest target in easily the last year or more. I don't even get the specific "buy x product" offers anymore.

So predictable. One week I get the spend $120/$160 for 500/750 points.
Next week I get the double points.
Then repeat the next fortnight and so on.
Thats it same old, same old.

Also got the double points offer after a $200 spend from the previous week. Deleted both

Exactly the same here, until the offer I got this morning.

Double points for me as well, must be about the fourth time in the last few weeks.
