Good to have a break for a few weeks to relieve the headaches. The offers have been very ordinary during that time anyway.

Now to start the off the New Year with a bang

Dad - 750 bonus points for $180 spend
Brother - 250 bonus points for $50 spend

Can't think of a way to use second offer. Too much to spend in Brisbane and I am going away for 2 weeks.

My guess is that Everyday Rewards have just sent out offers to many members.

All of the members of my family received offers earlier today. They offered discounts of a certain amount each week for a period of 3 weeks starting next Monday January 19.

The offers varied from $10 off for a spend of $50 to $5 off for a spend of $30. Percentage wise the $10 offers are a better deal but the $5 off deals are a good idea if I don't need too much at Woolworths. I'm planning to reduce my spending at Coles in the next few weeks so I can lower my targets there so I'll probably be able to take up 2 WW/EDR offers each week.

Read the offers carefully if you get them as they are targeted for specific Woolworths store. My partners offer was for the store where we do our click and collect orders and the other offers were for the store we do most of our transactions at.

$275 / 1000pts... no chance.

Next one please.

We got lots of offers when in Burma but couldn't find a Woollies.
Today we both received an offer-Mrsdrron $10 off a $75 shop for the next 3 weeks.
I $5 0ff a $30 shop for the next 3 weeks.
Activated then read the whole offer-for both of us if the spend is at Bondi Junction!
Mrsd used her card there once in early December shopping for our DIL.

Flybuys is much less trouble.

$80 for 500 points, $120 for 750 points here.

Doubt I'll bother

I got that as well and needing a large shop for non-perishables meant I was able to claim the 750 points. Didn't hurt that the preferred cat food was >20c per can off when the EDR card was scanned. :)

Not a single offer for 4 accounts. Mum would love these offers. Next time.

Probably not the best thread to ask, but is it me or does big w spend no longer provide fuel discount offers for spends > $30.

Thinking about it, i'm unsure if it ever did :S

Unless you're in a high spending family like I am in which case that's normal. Feeding six on a fortnightly shop results in a big bill. We'll get ones for 1,500 or 2,000 points for a $350-$450 spend every now and then if our shopping has dropped off.

They used to but stopped a few back

The store selections are very interesting. My friend occasionally does her shopping in my Woolworths instead of the Woolworths in her suburb and her $5 off $30 offer was for one of my local Woolworths stores rather than her "regular" store. After hearing her story and your story I am guessing that only specific WW stores are participating in this promotion. Perhaps WW is trying to drum up extra business for these stores only. She was lucky to get an easy target like $30 as most of her offers are in the $80-$160 targets and above what she usually spends. I was actually lucky on most of the accounts to get the store most convenient to me.

They stopped doing it a few years ago.

(As answered by markis10 nearly 12 hours ago. )

Zero offers for 3 months now.

What happens if you stop using the card for a while? I hardly ever use my card any more and I get offers just about every week. Last week was 250 points for $50 spend (no restriction on which WW shop). I told them that I was aware that other people got 250 points for $30 spend so they need to lift their game if they want me to play, and give me their best offer. At least they have stopped with the offers over $100 which I hardly ever spend. I have also started paying cash so they can't track me through my credit card. I was only earning about 4000 EDR points a year, just not worth it for the data they get from me.

I take my card with me though for the specials that you can only get with the card (which I only buy if it was an item already on my shopping list). Last week $1.80 off cranberry juice :). I put it through as a separate cash transaction so hopefully their computer thinks that is all I bought.

Watch out for more emails from Everyday Rewards. There was a technical glitch with some of the offers and the wrong location was given. The apology email will explain which stores you can use the offer in. My friend also received an offer for a store she hardly ever uses and she got an email from Everyday Rewards today explaining that she could use the offer at her local store.

That will be the plan. I was using the card during December incase I got close to the target for the shopping partners bonus points. Will be back to shopping at King's Cross Coles for work lunches now.

I do, however, think it was related to the switch of the EDR credit card to Mac Bank. The offers stopped around that time. I've re-saved my preferences and all that but no luck. SWMBO has also been cut off, and she has a supplementary EDR card. I don't know, considering I'll be cutting the EDR card in preference to Citibank points, it probably isn't a big loss. Qantas tells me I earned 18000 points from shopping in the last 12 months. That would all be Woolies, our budget is to not spend more than $250 a week of food. Not always successful.
