EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

Just to confirm a couple of things

- Opal cards in Sydney are free?
- Can top up Opal card at Woolworths and the spend counts towards targetted spend promotions?

I hardly ever use public transport in Sydney but my brother does and a couple of opal cards come in handy.

Also looking to get 3 prepaid sim cards and topping up accordingly. I have Virgin mobile so is it possible to get Optus top-ups at Woolworths that count towards targetted spend?
The T&C's normally expressly exclude transactions that won't count towards the hurdle, so everything else is included. Read them carefully and if in doubt, ask here ;)

Hahaha. I hardly ever read the terms and conditions as they usually don't mean much. Individual experiences reveal a lot more than terms and conditions. ;)

Mum - double points this weekend
Brother - 250 bonus points for $30 spend this weekend

Double points here too.But Woollies in Tasmania don't think they are part of Australia so no EDR anyway.

I used the week 1 coupon yesterday, the gold coupon(we didn't win) and the email offer of 15% off for a $50 spend. We got just over $50 worth of stuff and paid just over $43 for it. We got 300 bonus points plus the base points and got some more dominoes for the collection.

Nothing of interest has come my way in a long time, but I don't shop at WW/Big W very often. Dropped some cash there yesterday so hoping it'll reboot some offers for me!

Seems like I only get the spend $120/500 & $160/750 point offers and have't had one of those for a couple of weeks.
I want a coupon book (:

All I got this week was double points :( So the only thing I used the card for was the special EDR price for yogurt. That'll learn 'em :p

I want my Easter gift card that still hasn't arrived. I'm sure last year it arrived ages before Easter.

My Easter giftcard hasn't arrived so I checked the T&Cs:

Woolworths Gift Card Terms & Conditions:
Your $75 Cash for Easter Gift Card expires on 30/06/2015 and can be redeemed at Woolworths supermarkets or Woolworths Online. The Gift Card cannot be applied to purchases of liquor, smoking/tobacco products, gift cards and selected services. If you have not received your $75 Cash for Easter Gift Card by Thursday 2 April, please call us on 1300 10 1234. For full terms and conditions on the Gift Card, visit everydaygiftcards.com.au.

Bolding is mine. Good to see the card doesn't expire at Easter!

My shopping for Week 1 done and piggybacked the golden coupon (no win), $5 off for more than $50 F&V ($57, so net $52) and total shop $100 for 500 points ($125 gross, $120 net)

Then used the $10 off Hahn Dry on the receipt for $38 net at BWS.
