Just received the regular pathetic offer on three active accounts for Mon - Thu of double points over $30. No deal - gave negative feedback and didn't activate.
BTW, my family has 4 accounts - 3 accounts regularly get offers but one has not received any offer at all since mid-2012 and consequently hasn't been used. I have signed on a few times to make sure communication preferences are correct but still nothing. I might scan it next time and spend a $1 or so and see if it triggers something.
Does the date of birth on the dormant account indicate that the member is under or over 18? In mid-2012 EDR changed the rules and no longer send targeted offers to accounts of members under 18.
If the date of birth indicates the member is over 18, a spend of $1 might trigger an offer. If the $1 trigger spend doesn't work, try spending $30. EDR seem to like this type of trigger spend as it gives them a good indication of the types of products that you buy.
Yes the dormant account is under 18 (coming up to 15) so maybe you are correct. However our other junior account is also under 18 (approaching 17) and he gets as many offers as I or Mrs SydneySwan receive. Go figure!
My wife did a big shop tonight $367 & used her week 2 Double points, 1K points for online and $5 off meat. Then realised we could have used my card offers for week 2 - triple points goes begging

I decided to browse my emails yesterday before going to Woollies.Offer for 250 bonus points for $30 spend.Too easy.
All I got was an email saying that they had especially picked some specials for me.
Is that really the best offer to me? I think not!
After some 10 minutes on hold and a confused CS, I've got 1,331 points coming to me. The CSR was confused as she repeated my name, then looked at the card details on her computer screen - once she worked out I was the primary card holder and ID'ed me, we went forward). Now to wait the obligatory 72 hours to hit the EDR account, then be swept into my QFF account.
Well we went all out tonight. The cupboard were all bare (it's been 3 weeks since a big shop) and we saw some good discounts on regular items. The gross shop was $614, so we then looked at the vouchers. Was able to load 4 of my 5 vouchers:
1. Triple points
2. 20% off for spending more than $20 on cheese
3. 15% off for spending more than $25 on frozen foods
4. $5 off for spending more than $35 on oral care, personal wash, deodorant & men's toiletries
but the final one (1K points for spending $150 online) for some reason they think I have already used it (I note the code is the same as the one for my wife, which we used in Week 2 - so they're getting a call).
We saved $26 on items 2 to 4, so ended up spending $588. Phew, quite a shop but the points are worth it (particularly if I get the 1K bonus points) - as it looks like 2,674 QFF points + 882 VA points.
