EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

$120/500points. HA. I activated it on the off chance I actually did spend that much but I'm pretty sure I only need to spend ~$50, which is all I will be spending. Feedback sent saying it's too high.

I got the 500 points/$100 spend at Woolworths offer as well as the $20 gift card for $100 spend at Big W. Both targets WAY above what I'd normally spend at either store. I've constantly sent feedback in the past about spend targets being too high and not being interested in points offers, but they obviously don't take a lot of notice. Deleted both offers.

Big W keep sending offers, this is the latest.

They think I'm going to spend $100 - tell them they're dreaming
Isn't that 20% off? That's a great offer. Shame Everyday Rewards can't target their offers to the right household.

We're probably lucky in that we have to feed 2 late teenage ferals, so our shop is always $300-$400. So 300-400 points + 500 points bonus + pay on NAB Amex or Jetstar MC -> total of 1100 - 1300 points. Mrs C gets all the offers, I never seem to get any offers on my EDR card.

I got that one too and thought it was a good offer, I just don't need to spend $100 at Big W right now.

This week's offer is spend $50 to receive 250 points. Will give it a miss this week as I've topped up my Opal card already.

Mum - 1000 bonus points for $275 spend
Dad - 750 bonus points for $180 spend
Me - 500 bonus points for $120 spend
Fiancee - 500 bonus points for $100 spend

I also received this...heading for Coles later

They want feedback - so feed them!

It is getting very frequent that my comment is very close to yours unfortunately.

The spend X get Y back was the exception.

I have provided any feedback for any of our 5 accounts.

In my opinion they do not want feedback and I am not going to test the theory of what happens when you start to provide negative feedback.

5% Off online orders of $100 or more - pickup or delivery this weekend July 18/19

Did not get an email about it but it shows up online this morning.

T&Cs state 'eligible' customers, I suspect that means ones who battle their web site.

JohnK,

you have the perfect set-up to see if there is any response - good or bad.

Often two or more of your offers are very similar. Why not try giving honest (negative) feedback on just that one account as well as positive feedback if warranted and see if there is any change in the relative offers.

Knowing how organised you are with it, it would be easy to add the weekly offers in a spreadsheet for you to keep track (cut & paste your AFF weekly post into a new column each week in the spread sheet for example).

The account that I have never complained on virtually never gets any offers despite using the card regularly (and that child is NOT happy!). The others get the same offers but different hurdles that do not appear to match recent amounts spent.

We are only back a month from more than 3 months away and as we weren't shopping stopped getting offers. Since we have been back and using the EDR card again, the offers have started but are unusable. We keep getting offers to spend $250 for 750 or 500 points but only between Monday and Thursday. They are not good value but we do spend that much most weeks, however all our shopping is done on a weekend so no good to us

Obviously they want us to change our shopping habits however with both an Aldi and Coles now in our shopping centre any changes to our habits might not be to their liking

One account got 250 points for a $50 spend. We might use it on Thursday depending on the offers received on Wednesday which run from Thursday to Sunday. I like the overlap of offer dates and offer generation. It makes it easier to plan how to use the best deals.

Used mrs prozac's card last week for a 250pt/$30 spend. I haven't shown my card in a few weeks and today received a 500pt/$75 spend. That's more like it. Will top up on some non-perishables.
