I am nominally interested, although quite confused what the details are.

I can do drinks or dinner in Perth tonight?

Next week - maybe, but likely to be in Singapore instead.
June - too far to plan ahead.

The date was changed to June. We'll need to work out what we're going to be doing closer to the time.

OK. I've just checked offline with Uppy. The 'Sav Blanc Education' thing is partly a play on some jesting on the wine thread a while back. Depending on the numbers and the wine list where we go, we can do that and then go post-graduate ;).

Uppy's staying at the Hyatt. It might be simplest to do dinner somewhere in or close to the city.

Some suggestions:

CBD: Lalla Rookh: Home

CBD: Trustee: The Trustee Bar & Bistro

East Perth: The Royal: Restaurant & Pub East Perth, Western Australia, Bars Perth, Waterfront Dining East Perth, Corporate Lunch, coughtail Bar WA, Family Pubs Perth, Sports Bar CBD, After Work Drinks Venue - The Royal On The Waterfront

A couple of other options that are on the Fremantle train line for easy car-free transport and if folks wanted to get out of the city area:

Cottesloe: Lamont's: https://www.lamonts.com.au/venues/cottesloe (very good small plates and an extensive wine list. Had an excellent NZ SB that I had not previously tried - preceding a slew of reds :) - at a friend's birthday lunch there yesterday. A very crisp, not the typical over-fruity, style.)

Fremantle: Bread in Common: Bread in common: Kitchen / Bakery: Pakenham St. Fremantle (doesn't take bookings, but that shouldn't be a problem on a Monday - I think).

(Uppy - for either of the latter options, should they appeal, I could meet you in Perth and go with you there and back on the train.)

Cynicor et al.: any other thoughts?

I think UpInTheAir;) needs to experience Lalla Rookh as I did for my first experience of real Perth CBD dining

Been a little bit preoccupied with work lately, so my time on line is much diminished and probably will be for the foreseeable future.

So are you coming QF WP??? Or are we keeping with tradition just realising that people cannot take that much fabulousness ;):)

My chance to get to PER on 15 June are a snowflakes chance in hell :(. Sorry we miss again. I trust JohnM will take you under his wing

Also interested, I don't have a name, but some of you know me ;)
