I'm trying to increase my points so I retain Platinum for 2014.

I currently hold 67,011 Total points earned and 17,906 Elite Qualifying Points Earned for 2013 to date.

How do I earn the Elite Qualifying Points? According to IHG website I need 60,000 to retain Platinum.

I just stayed 4 nights in Terrigal which earns me 28,085 points thanks to Markis10 offer codes..... But insure how I work out what the actual Elite Qualifying Points earns would have been?

Markis10 are you out there somewhere?!?!

I may be missing something, but the details at that link don't support your claim of 40K points if you have four brands?

Your not missing anything, its 40 nights not 40k, Woops.

I always dine IN HOUSE = 10 x Qualifying points per dollar, meal for 2 + bottle of wine usually around $ 120 AUD = approx $ 100 USD = approx extra 1,000 Qualifying points
