Tuesday 7 March is expected to see EK412 from DXB to SYD arriving an hour late at 0800 as it departed DXB on Monday 6 at 1117, 62 late.

Saturday 25 March sees EK434 (A380 A6-EOM) from DXB to BNE arriving at about 0809, 89 minutes tardy. The 0825 hours scheduled departure of the 'tag flight' from BNE across to AKL should become about 0950.

The BKK- SYD overnight EK418 (A380 A6-EON) is about 73 late with arrival suggested as 1013. Its 1040 hours timetabled departure to AKL will more likely become 1155 or so.

A6-EUA on the SIN to MEL EK404 is 100 minutes late with a 1030 arrival predicted.

The DXB - SYD EK412 (A380 A6-EUI) is worst of all as its arrival is suggested as 0918, 138 minutes behind schedule. It had taken off from DXB about two hours and 35 minutes late (155 late) at 1315 hours on Friday 24: scheduled departure ex DXB was 1015. ITs 0845 hours SYD - CHC onward leg will become about a 1050 hours departure if all goes well.

These late flights must be difficult for airports to manage and in some cases may force other flights to use bus transfers to stands away from gates. I had the displeasure of this occurring with another airline in SYD a few weeks ago.
