8,000 points for the 4th dozen in 1st year.

16,000 points for the 4 dozen bottles in the promotion.

1,800 points for the 3 points per dollar.

Plus bonus 8 bottles for the substitution replacement Shiraz.

25,800 points for $600.
Plus a bonus 48 bottles plus 4 Special editions plus 8 substitution bottles. Not a bad promo for 60 free bottles of wine ;)

Absolutely ditto here on all accounts except I got an extra 2000 pts as I also made my first 2 dozen order from Epicure during this promo:)

Is the bonus after 4 dozen in the first calendar year, or membership year? Don't know if it's worth ordering some more now ...

First membership year is what I read it as, so a new member in November would have until the next October to order the 4 cases. If you've already ordered 48 bottles and received your 8000, you wont receive another lot. :p

Ha I'm not that much of an alcoholic! *looks around suspiciously*. Have only ordered 2 dozen so far.

Mind you there's been a trip to ADL, not to mention some cellarmasters specials in there. Glug.

Not a big fan of this Sideways Chardy......

Oh well - only 7 more bottles of it to get through....

You have missed the 2000 points for the purchase of the first dozen - there's that and the 8k for the 4th dozen as well, so by the time you order the 4th dozen there's 10K bonus.

So that's 27,800 points for $600.

Agreed! I only have one more though! Only purchased one case!

Semillion ok, Cullen white good, Yering Shiraz Viognier good, Juniper Crossing cab merlot terrible! Haven't tried Wynns Cab Shiraz Merlot but should be ok though not expecting great! Still to call epicure re Seppelt Shiraz. Probably too late now.

True - but I hit the first bonus a few weeks earlier on the 6 points/$ promo for a dozen of the Shiraz Voignier.

So my total epiqure year 1 haul was 29,000 points for ~$800 and a bonus 72 bottles of wine ;)

Oh plus some CC points thrown in for cream on top!

Just goes to show how subjective wine can be: first sip of the Sideways I wondered what was going on but was well into it a few sips later. I've really enjoyed them. Beats the heck out of about 95% of the bland boring Sauv Blancs the Kiwis have been dumping on us for far too long, IMHO.
The Juniper was rubbish but the Wynns might surprise you. I thought it excellent drinking.
Definitely shouldn't be too late to get your replacement Seppelts Xaviers - give them a call. It's an outstanding drop for $20 so exceptional value for free! :D

SWMBO had the lot in the four dozen ordered, although we did go for some scrubby rise and pepperjack rather than another mixed, so a few more $$$ ... & a few more points.:p

I agree. I dodged a bullet there! I went to buy a case (price was 14.99/bottle) , had order in cart. Noticed I was late for physio so out I go. come back, sign back in , and its up to 17.99/bottle. Call the customer help number and basically made to feel like I was stoopid! They insisted is was always the higher price. So I didnt order.

Agree totally about the Xaviers, but isnt the Cullen outstanding. So much so that when it wasnt available in a case, I went to the Cullen site and bought a box. Outstanding value and cheaper than epiQure. You can mix a dozen between white and red, a 10% case discount, and free delivery Australia wide. $18/bottle!
