Best view I can get of the aircraft is from the aerobridge at gate 36.



In 5F. So far, I have a shadow. I don't think the people in front of me in 3DE are WP as they didn't know where 3DE were. Any good VFF SG/WP knows where row 3 is.

I couldn't pop into the lounge today erk as I have an appointment but my little one did demand Cessy's this morning so we may just see you land before heading off.

Look out for the black Subaru on the boundary fence with a crazy 2 year old hanging out of the sunroof clapping at your aircraft!

(Just realized he won't see this before he lands......)

On the baggage issue, I've seen the guys here go epically out of the way to ensure bags transit for pax, unsure what their criteria are!

We don't get a lot of int'l transit pax in OOL!

OTR: Good despite a missed approach approached due to JQ flight stopped on the runway as mentioned above. I could tell we had a missed approach as we started climbing again. The CSM made an initial announcement on the climb & then the FO made another announcement after the plane levelled out. There was no panic from the crew & even some laughter from the pax when the FO mentioned that we'll go around & have another go.

And yes, it was my first missed approach. Seeing the Gold Coast skyline again was no drama. LOL.

Now in the OOL Vlounge.

They are Ballina and B.B. - the white B.B. lighthouse, in the right light, can usually be made out on the B.B. headland but not so much today.
