So if I was to go to In & Out, here's the directions should I decide to walk it.

I'll be arriving T7 & be departing TBIT. I do have bags to claim & check in. I don't think they'll through check bags at SBP on UA for SQ. If they do, that would be so much easier.

I have read that some people have taken the Spot shuttle to/from LAX as the garage is next door to In & Out.

Thoughts?

Definitely take the Sepulveda parking spot shuttle, and tip your driver!

Sorry I am not there to take you erkpod but this shuttle is a great idea.

Well erkpod there is a ladies watch inside the TBIT terminal for $26,600 US (Bulgari ) or there is a shuttle to go to In N Out for a $3.71 taste tester at the end of your trek or ...........there is the free lounge for you.

Day 43 SBP - LAX - NRT
Wednesday 12 February

All checked in & interlined to NRT. Ironically it's due to UA & SQ both being in *A but I'm firmly in the VA/VFF universe.

My larger bag was 1 pound overweight so I had to do a quick re-pack.

Saying goodbye to my friends, I was recalled to the counter, my TSA locks weren't working with their TSA key. So the officer asked me if they could borrow my key. Must have been her key as other TSA keys have worked. I had to wait for the bags to be checked & I had to re-lock them. That scenario would have been totally different in LAX for instance.

Farewelling my friends again, it was the now routine security screening. No free body massage for me.

I went to In N Out. Now back at LAX & have been denied entry into the *A lounge at TBIT because I'm not flying VA & am flying Y on SQ.

No need to take off the orange & white flag during a meal break.

Fun sized Pol-ice car at LAX outside TBIT.

There's Engine 51 again!

Who doesn't like a happy ending?

I suspect that's because the *A Lounge isn't a Silver Kris Lounge. VA/VFF should really sort something out there if they want the partnership to be useful to their customers.

But if I was going home on VA. it would have been allowed according to the gatekeeper.

Hmmm.

Even though I had a UA issued BP ex SBP for LAX - NRT, I had to get a SQ BP at TBIT. Managed to move from 48J to 33K. Flight is about 35 minutes from boarding although the check in lady said my area will board last, we'll deplane earlier in Japan.
