More or less... I believe it also means the black cabs won't be taking any fares so you're restricted to Minicabs.

Interesting to find out that today's taxi protest is about Uber. I think a few more people may check Uber out today. With a £20 discount for my first ride using promo code Metro, I think I have found how I'm going to get back to LHR.

The Bakerloo trains are the same basic type as on the Jubilee are older. I love the colour coding that is possible with dedicated rolling stock.

Some of the curves at Tube stations are simply amazing like here at Waterloo.

Interesting to read about 24 hour Tube services on weekends in 2015. Hopefully that will be from 1st train Friday to last train Sunday.





South West Trains has a good approach to keeping people out of a construction site but also letting people know what is going on in an eye catching way at Waterloo.



Even ticket barriers aren't safe from advertising.



I presume ladies have to pay 30p to spend a penny too (I haven't checked)

I had a nice chat with this guy as he was having a break. He got interested in stilt walking while he was a sailor & now has been at Southwalk for a few years now.

I decided that I wanted to get a ferry on the Thames. I did a bit of boat spotting while I was waiting.

Despite all this signage & branding, one of the cruise workers tells me that regular ferries don't leave from Festival Pier. The TfL unbranded London Eye pier was the closest ferry wharf that I needed to be at.







So I gave up & caught a bus instead...
