+1. I really don't like our nearest "decent size" Woolworths (ie big enough to find the range we want) and I was looking to get rid of this membership. I will keep it now.
 
I cancelled my renewal (ends 1st November) months ago when the changes were introduced but looks like I'll sign up again, for the online discount.

Good news but what this probably means it that they have closed the loophole!
Not sure what the loophole was but they never seemed to restrict how many times I could use the % off bonus online with the promo code, seemed to just keep giving me discounts. Not complaining.
 
Funny reading the press release. Question is why they didn't ask for feedback in the first place, and only act in the end.
 
Great news, as others have said the loophole is probably closed now, but if I had to pick one it'd be online, rather than in store. The 3x free months as "compensation" for the cost increase/points reduction is a nice sweetener too, so I'll stick around for now!
