Everyday Rewards launches Everyday Extra subscription product

I just looked, my subscription ends in mid December. So I guess no use cancelling now? As I wouldn't be eligible to resign up with the discount in November.
My subscription ends Dec 29 but I have resubscribed at the discounted rate (to be charged Dec 29). I had already cancelled back in Jan (ie benefit continues to end of period paid for). So if I were you I would cancel and see if I receive the offer. I saw the offer when I logged in to my Rewards account on a browser. Not in the app that I noticed and no email.

I cancelled this morning and need to use this month's 10% before the 13th.
@Mr_Orange why do you have to use it by the 13th?

I haven't received the discounted offer, no email, and in my app it says renewal is $70. Due in December.

Hmm I will have to have a better look.

My renewal will be charged on 5 Jan so even if I cancel I fear the $35 offer wont be around come Jan; as I dont think I can renew prior to the 18th Dec with a valid subscription already active.

Why not just cancel now and try your luck? Maybe they offer you a half price membership to continue (now that the current deal is running)? Worst case scenario is that you are faced with paying full price, in which case you're no worse off than you otherwise would have been.

So when is 10% not actually 10%? Why with Everyday Extra at Big W, of course!
I placed my usual monthly order for this and that, and didn't think anything of it until a casual glance at my confirmation...

So, I called them today, and after a long-ish conversation featuring a few (announced) long silent holds - it couldn't be established what the cause was (I've never had this before) - the end result was being compensated 4000 EDR points, not a bad return on a <$3 error.

Excluded products?

Excluded products?
Nothing they could identify (others possibly became involved during the silent holds), and most of the items were regularly ordered products that haven't had issues in the past. I could find no combination of items adding up to an amount that would make sense for an excluded item scenario (my first thought). 🤷‍♂️

When does the 50% deal end?
Not yet.

My subscription expired yesterday and today the app offered me the 50% deal so I just saved myself $35.

I'm actually tempted to sign up Mrs_O's account and get double the number of discounts for the cost of a single annual subscription.

Planning to get my Mum a paid subscription for the same reason (and claim the referral bonus for myself)

I think mid December?
From Pointhacks (owner of AFF) Our favourite frequent flyer deals and offers
Expiry: 18 December 2024
The popular Everyday Extra subscription is 50% off for a limited time. Until 18 December 2024, new members can sign up for $35 a year. If you typically spend at least $30 in a single shop at Woolworths or Big W each month, you’ll likely come out ahead with this offer. The main perks of Everday Extra are:
  • 10% off a single Woolworths and Big W shop, every month
  • Double Everyday Rewards points at Woolworths and Big W (base points only)
  • Free monthly item at Woolworths + other perks
If you’re new to Everyday Extra or haven’t been a paid member for the last six months, you’re eligible for 1,500 bonus Everyday Rewards points as a referral bonus if you click the link below (or ask your friends and family for a referral – both parties get the bonus 1,500 points).
The Pointhacks referral link not working for me.

Edit
Another Everydayrewards extra half price referral

I might do the same. I also get 10% once a month for my prepaid mobile but that is in store only, which is a bit of a pain. Plus 10% with Coles for $7 a month.

Thanks everyone.
Mine expires 16th December. So, I will not renew and cancel a few days earlier and sign up for the discounted price.

Mine expires on 15 December. Have already cancelled it (you still get the benefits if on an annual subscription) and have put a reminder in my calendar to resubscribe on 16 December.
